Novice Barista and pros alike can now instantly and visibly determine without a doubt whether or not their grind, dosing and/or technique is on or off. Valuable clues tell an informed trainee where work may be needed. - ☕【Better Crema and Taste】: In the hands of an experienced barista with fresh espresso beans, a bottomless portafilter will yield 50% or more of Crema. Why? Your espresso shot will come in contact with no other surface than the bottom of you coffee portafilter basket. No portafilter bottom and no spout. This keeps the tiny Crema bubbles we all look for in a perfect shot intact and unharmed. Furthermore the lack of a spout allows espresso directly into the cup for serving in most cases. - ☕【Espresso Extraction Troubleshooting】: Bottomless portafilter allows the barista to instantly deduce whether proper tamping technique has been achieved. If the extraction leans to one side or the other an improper angle was used when tamping. If rogue streams of espresso are seen coming from the bottom of the basket it is possible that your espresso portafilter was leveled and or dosed unevenly. - ☕【Double Shot Baskets】: The usual standard for commercial and prosumer machines, double shot baskets can often hold 16grams of ground coffee. This is probably what you’ll want to use on most days. Detachable double cup basket is easy to deep clean inside 54mm stainless steel naked portafilter. Food grade and dishwasher safe non pressurized basket along with it. - ☕【EXCLUSIVELY FOR 54MM ESPRESS MACHINE】: 54mm portafilter fits Breville series BES840/BES870/BES875/BES878/BES880/BES500, Compatible with Breville Barista Express,Pro,Touch,Bambino Plus,Infuser and Duo-Temp Pro. Confident to buy it and enjoy the coffee time. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Shape | Basket | | Material | Stainless Steel, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | ## Product Details - **Material:** Stainless Steel, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene - **Brand:** Joytata - **Shape:** Basket - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Unit Count:** 1.0 Count ## Images ![54mm Bottomless Portafilter Compatible with Breville Espresso Machine BES840XL-BES870XL-BES870BSXL-BES878BSS-BES880BSS Stainless Steel Portafilter with Filter Basket Handle-ABS Plastic - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CwcwjCZRL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Joytata 54mm Bottomless Portafilter Compatible with Breville Espresso Machine BES840XL-BES870XL-BES870BSXL-BES878BSS-BES880BSS Stainless Steel Portafilter with Filter Basket Handle-ABS Plastic - Normcore 58.5mm Coffee Tamper V4 - Spring-loaded Tamper with 15lb / 25lb / 30lbs Replacement Springs - Anodized Aluminum Handle and Stand - Stainless Steel Flat Base - MATOW 53mm Coffee Distributor and Tamper, Dual Head Coffee Leveler Compatible with Breville 54mm Portafilter, Adjustable Depth- Professional Espresso Hand Tampers --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/521514401-54mm-bottomless-portafilter-compatible-with-breville-espresso-machine-bes840xl-bes870xl](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/521514401-54mm-bottomless-portafilter-compatible-with-breville-espresso-machine-bes840xl-bes870xl) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
