Easy to use. Results are great
Love this! Made a massive difference to a hair disaster. Worth every penny. Hair feels smooth and healthy. Leaves a natural sheen, no brassy tones.

Green tinge :(
Fine for the first week, then as it washed out it gave me a green tinge. I’ve had a green tinge for almost a month now while I’m trying to let it all wash out. Not loving it. Turns out this has happened for quite a few people. I never review anything but feel the need to let people know to not buy this if you don’t want green hair. (For reference I have hair that had been bleached/dyed copper for a year and I recently dyed it brown. I used the gloss as the brown had washed out a bit. Mistaaaaake.) If you’re after this sort of vibe but without the green, I highly recommend the Bleach London “instant coffee” brown toner.

Honest review
I wouldn’t say it has drastically changed the colour but my hair does look refreshed and super shiny! You don’t get a lot in a bottle and I’d say you need half of the bottle. However, I will definitely buy this again and possibly use it again in a months time to freshen up

Bottle battle
Really difficult to get out if the bottle, especially with wet, gloved hands. My hair is now lovely and soft, but not noticeably shinier.

Excellent…at first!
I am an aging natural brunette who decided to stop dyeing my hair and let my greys grow out. In the meantime, my ends were quite bleached out with dark roots, so I bought this to use on those blonder ends. It worked an absolute treat and I was delighted with the results! However, now having used it 2 or 3 times I notice that as it’s washing out it’s tinted those bleached ends ever so slightly GREEN! Not hugely noticeable to others apparently (perhaps they’re just kind?!) but both me and my hairdresser noticed it. I’m now frantically using blue shampoo to take the edge off the green. So I do partly recommend it, it definitely does what it says, but the aftermath can be interesting! Don’t over-use it I suppose

Great product
Works well with good results. Only issue is as the Product is so thick it is difficult to get it out of the bottle maybe a tube would be better. Lovely results though

Disappointing for Grey Roots
I had high hopes for the Glaze Super Gloss Colour Conditioning Hair Gloss in Luminous Licorice, but unfortunately, it doesn’t clearly say that it’s not going to cover grey roots. As someone with dark brown/black hair, I was hoping this product would help extend the time between my color appointments by blending in those pesky greys. However, it doesn’t provide any coverage for grey roots, which completely defeats the purpose for anyone looking for a quick touch-up or refresher in between dye jobs. While it does add a nice shine and makes hair feel softer, it doesn’t address the issue of grey coverage at all. If you’re hoping this gloss will help mask those greys in between coloring sessions, I’d recommend looking for something else. This product is costly and not suitable for every age range.

Excellent
I am not sure why so many negative reviews, but I am more than happy with Glaze. I tend to change my hair colour often, and I've tried different shades of Glaze, each time with good results. One thing to remember is that this is not a hair dye, therefore it needs to match closely your hair colour. Last one I've tried was blazing brown, on a medium blonde hair. It gives depth and gets rid of brassy and yellow tones. Hair is left with more depth and ashy colour which was my goal. Also, it leaves hair very soft and shiny. People also complain about getting the product out, I solved that problem by completely unscrewing the cap, that way with a bit of shake product comes out nicely. At one point when my hair was lighter, I also used vanilla lights and bronde, also very happy with the results. I always use gloves and don't find it especially messy. I think it's an excellent product as long as we remember to use it as a glaze and not to expect hair dye.
