The lather isn't as crazy but I find it adequate. I used the other one for doing the dishes and I didn't expect them to work but they work so well, I don't think I'll ever go back to sponges ever again. I only wash pots / pans, knives and cutting boards by hand and again there is no overwhelming lather but the amount of time I spend cleaning is cut in half. There is no oily residue after I wash with these and rinse once, I had that problem with sponges where I had to re-do it a few times to get it completely clean. The best part is being able to wash knives without touching them and very quickly. They have held up great and it’s been almost 6 months. I boil them once a month to help remove any bacteria and they dry better than other loofas.
