SCAM! Arrived damaged with 6โ slash and seller wants me to pay to return to a different address
Nice product in theory but the reality is it arrived very damaged. There is poor quality stitching with a 6โ slice where the stitches and grass fibers were cut clean through. Unless it's repaired, itโs in danger of ripping open further, and repair would be very difficult if not impossible. This was an international order and quite expensive. When I reported the issue, I was given an odd return label to a different address with no postage paid. Looks like a SCAM.

My first tatami mt
This mat is really nice for the price. It's soft, has that rush grass smell to it, and it's made my whole apartment just smell wonderful. I was surprised, for how thin it is, that it was still so comfortable to sleep on. I wanted to see how I'd sleep with just the mat, even though I have a floor futon, to see what it's like sleeping on tatami. I was not disappointed in the least. I'm glad I made this purchase. Best thing I've found, when first unrolling, was the corner stays for a Japanse futon. I was really happy as I have a Full size futon and it slips right into the corner stays. I can even roll up the tatami mat with the futon for easy stowage.

Comfortable
It's really comfy. I like the way it feels and smells. Heads up the smell is really strong (imo). It's like sleeping on a soft bed of grass!

Nice mat but not flexible from side to side
I got this to put on my futon. It looks great and feels good but it is a little larger than my mattress and it rolls up on the sides when I lay down on it, so it's not quite a flexible from side to side as I would have liked but I guess it wasn't meant to be used ad a mattress topper but other than that it is fine.

Good quality, exactly what i was looking for
I got the full size and I like to use it when my friends are over. I Lay it right on top of my bed sheets and prevents it from getting dirty plus itโs comfortable. It has a nostalgic feel to it for me because my grandma has this type of tatami flooring in her house in japan. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for a tatami feel mat.
