Yes, as long as you know the refrigerant you took out is clean. You must make sure you pull a vacuum on the tank this way you know it's also a clean tank.

It say "may be use with 410A " what do you mean by that? is only 410a tank or r22?

410A is an high pressure refrigerant, this cylinder is rated for 410A so it would handle any lower pressure refrigerants, such as R22 .

Can this be used to recover any refrigerant or only R410?

It is a universal tank , that means it can be used for any refrigerant up to And including R410A (R410A is one of the highest pressure refrigerants comenly used in HVAC)

when's the retest date on the tank due?

These tanks need to be retested every 5 years from the date of manufacture. It depends on how long these have been at the Amazon warehouse but typically the tanks are not more than a few months old since they were manufactured.

Here is the picture of the label on the tank and the stamp specs on the top of the tank additional info the 2 threaded fitting on top of the tank are not automotive R134A compatible you have to buy a adapter to fit automotive style hoses

Very good recovery cylinder. It’s well made and very solid, it doesn’t handle like the cheaper manufactured ones. This was a good buy for me at $99.00. Plus, I like to play it safe and I definitely did not want to compromise buying a lower grade with the possibility of a tank blowing up in my face. I feel safe and most certainly happy with this purchase.

Excellent.

Good build quality. Though watch out for a torn or missing protective mesh that a new cylinder arrives with. I won't buy any other more expensive cylinder since this does the job perfectly. Used it for R22 recovery.
