**Q: What the Diameter of the string used for this machine?**
A: The string used is standard size and refill kits are available where sets are sold.

**Q: Is this easy enough for a 5-year-old (with help) who probably wouldn’t crank it very steadily but would insist on doing it himself?**
A: My 8-year-old granddaughter needed some help in doing it, so a 5-year-old would definitely need assistance.  The bracelets are pretty but it's harder to make than it looks.

**Q: do i have the option to fill the spools w my own thread. can i create my own refills w thread of my choosing but use the empty spools from package??**
A: We recommend purchasing the KumiKreator refills. Hope this helps!

**Q: Can we buy extra clasps?  What size/type works for these bracelets?**
A: I a, sure you can buy extra clasps anywhere that you find jewelry making supplies. This toy does the braiding of the thread but you can attach them to whatever type of clasp you prefer.
