My Little Wimmelbook®―Cars and Things That Go: A Look-and-Find Book (Kids Tell the Story) (My Big Wimmelbooks)

I love these books! So many things to see on every page. I love how you can see several storylines evolve just through pictures and no words. These books are amazing language therapy tools! So many opportunities for picture description tasks, and sentence formulation.

So fun and keeps toddlers occupied in the car! There are no words and the pictures are very busy and detailed, but there are stories if you follow the characters. We have several versions of the Wimmelbooks, all loved by my grandson.

After borrowing most of the wimmelbooks from the library, this is definitely the best one. My 2yr old son continues to love it. It has much more variety than the other books. I almost purchased this in the larger size, but the little book is better for a toddler to manage by themselves. It is perfect for car rides!

This is the second Wimmelbook I have bought. Such a great idea, and is a new version of a Look And Find. The illustrations are cute , busy enough for little ones to spend a lot of time looking at one page. It allows so much room for open ended conversation and storytelling. It became a staple so quickly and I can’t wait for the new ones to be released.

I love asking 2-8 year olds questions about what is happening in the book and listen as they tell me stories about what they see. Then we use our imagination and tell another story using the same characters and images. We also do a "where's the ____" and that's also fun for the littles. I think it could be fun for most ages who are interested in the way the characters are drawn. Each time we see it, imagination creates a new story/experience together. It also helps me see a glimpse into what is happening in their lives by the story they tell each time.

If your toddler likes vehicles, buy this book NOW! I didn't expect a book like this, with each page chock full of every kind of vehicle imaginable. It takes awhile to take it all in, and each page advances the event somewhat. There's also hidden easter egg for adult like an A-team van. The illustration is well-done, and the fact that it is a board book makes it very durable for toddlers. This book will definitely outlast most toys in terms of enjoyment as well, and I can imagine that it is good for an 1 year old as well as an 8 year old.

Wimmelbooks have changed our world! They are at the table and have kept my kids engaged for hours at the breakfast table. Every time we look through these we laugh at our usuals and find something new! There is always something to find. We always buy these for a gift too! We use these differently where we just look and discuss the pictures and just enjoy instead of looking for what we are “supposed” to find.

These books were requested by parents and I can see why. Very cute illustrations and well done. Keeps young children busy for quite a while. If your children like search and find books they will like these.

My son love this book! He’s four and can spend ages looking at all the images and taking them in. Perfect for a car trip etc. I will buy more!
