Works Great. Just throw the brick in a large bowl of water and wait like 5 minutes. The enclosure for my Ball Python is 3ft wide by 18 inches and 1 brick is sufficient to cover the area. Snake loves it.

We have a ball python and originally had thicker coconut husks, more like a mulch consistency. It was hard for him to move around as much as he would’ve liked too. After using this substrate he comes out more and plays in his tank. It is beginner friendly and I would recommend this to anyone looking for reptile substrate.

I use this in my chicken coop and it works great. So easy to scoop out the chicken poo and keeps the smell down. A little bit goes a long way. Lasts longer than other products. Doesn’t create dust and cause breathing issues

We use this in our snake and water monitor enclosures. Both animals seem to love it. I love the natural look and it masks any natural pet odors.

I would GLADLY give this a 5* but there was a handful of plastic shreddings in the bedding. I bought the 10 pound brick.... and it is a BRICK. It comes in like a foot by a foot by 4 or 5 inches (does not fit in a 5 gallon bucket) I used a quarter to show the plastic and then kept the theme when showing what the 10 pound brick makes just for fun. I think this is the softest bedding I've ever used. And unlike the big brands, this brick actually decompressed ON ITS OWN when I poured about 5.5 gallons of water over it. That alone was worth the purchase! I definitely recommend this, and I don't normally do reviews, I just wish they would find a way to keep the plastic pieces out.

This substrate comes compact and you break apart as much as you need soak in water and it fluffs up. Perfect for use in my Snail habitat

This is the first time I’ve bought this. I failed to read the part where you must soak it in water and wait for it to expand. So after 3 mins of trying and failing to break it apart by hand 😩 it clicked, “hey this might need water”. To my defense I have a sulcata tortoise that usually free roams so I’m not used to buying this but I set her up a little spot for cooler nights here in Florida. Anyways, she seems to like it, she can dig in it and burrow a little. Good stuff I think. And it does go a long way!

Artikel wie beschrieben angekommen. Gute Qualität! Etwas "anstrengend" im Handling... ewiges Einweichen und dann ewig wieder trocknen. Aber Ergebnis ist sehr gut einsetzbar. Ich verwende es als mal anderen Untergrund oder zum buddeln für einen Zwerghamster. Wie er es annimmt, werde ich noch sehen. Update kommt.
