Okay for Kindle unlimited but not a great but
It's okay. I wish I'd just rented it rather than purchased it. It's pithy and the photos of the exercises hat separated from the photos and you have to pay attention to see which paragraph is regarding to which picture on the paper before it after that you're reading.

Good Content, Some Not-so-effective guidance
I think there is a lot of Good info in this book. The explanations really help me understand more about how my body works and why I experience certain problems and pain. Its extremely Clear and helpful with that. But some of the stretches are given with no pictures or guides other than explanation. If I don't understand the explanation, it's not very helpful. I think this book is a very helpful starting point. It will be helpful along with other resources.

Helpful guidelines to improve flexibility.
We should take care of our hip flexors because with it not working properly we will not be able to bend our knees, walk and even run. This book discussed what hip flexor is and what it specifically does in the body, then provided techniques to reduce pain caused by tight hip flexors, as well as, helpful stretching guidelines. What I liked about this book is that, it is not only useful for people who are experiencing back and hip pain caused by muscle shortening but would also be useful for anyone who would like to improve their flexibility and posture. Good read, well-written, well-researched and I highly recommend it.

At last, a help for hip pain
This book goes into much detail about the different kinds of hip pain, including what causes it, and how to get relief. I have been increasing my exercise since having hip pain, but now am inspired to try ballet and yoga exercises. I sit at a desk a lot, but am encouraged tol get up and stretch more often along with talking walking breaks. It makes sense to do this, indeed, instead of getting more "rest". While rest is important, doing healthful walking and stretches just make sense. Very inspiring and helpful book!

Great for athletes, soccer players, and anyone with tight hip flexors!
Back when I used to play soccer in high school, my hip flexors often tightened up so badly I needed to visit the trainer to be iced. My coach told me I need to stretch my hip flexors more, but I wasn't sure how to do it. After reading this book, I've realized you need to do more than "hip flexor" stretches. There's an entire network of muscles in your upper leg and overdevelopment or underdevelopment in any area may result in tight hip flexors. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with tight hip flexors and anyone who play a lot of sports, especially if it's a sport that involves a lot of forward running!

Don't Bother!
First, I don't know who the author is - and he doesn't include any biographical information, so I don't know that he's any kind of expert. Second, he gives some basic information on anatomy, but no pictures. Since I don't know much about anatomy and I'm not good at visualization, it would have been very helpful to have some diagrams to show where these joints and muscles actually are. Third, on the "Basic Exercises", the directions are confusing, and even contradictory, and there are no pictures (there are a few line drawings, which generally don't match what the directions say). I tried to follow the directions for the first exercise, and ended up making my hip and back hurt even worse, so I'm done with that! (In fairness, the "Specific Static Stretches" have both pictures and YouTube videos, so those are much easier to follow - he definitely should have done that on the "Basic Exercises"!) Fourth, I HATE spelling and grammatical errors, and there are quite a number here, so if that isn't right, it makes me wonder if the exercises are right.

GREAT FOR MY HIPS
A really good concise read. Gave me far more detail with video links, than when I visited a physio who just drew a few stick men on a piece of paper. Good to be able to read how to do an exercise, what it was for and then watch it being executed using the you tube link. Wish I'd found this a lot earlier. Great read.

Don't waste your money
This is an extremely basic 34 page leaflet which has very limited information. There isn't even a diagram showing the anatomy of the leg! I cannot understand why it has been given such favourable reviews. You will find much more detailed and helpful advice free by surfing the internet

Expensive and shoddy
35 page book with minimal excercises. Poorly produced black and white photos, all with a link to a YouTube video. At ยฃ8.00 I feel cheated, just look up hip flexor excercises on you tube for free
