Great replacement to paper towels and also great for the environment. Once you find a set-up/system that works for you, it becomes habitual and you wont even think about paper towels anymore (I was paying $18 for a 12 pack of Brawn paper towels that lasted for about 3-4 month, depending on what I used them for, so thats about $50+ a year that I was spending on paper towels). Anyways, we still use paper towels for wiping down any raw meat juices that spilled on the counter and cleaning the toilets and such but its still a nice cut back on costs and on using paper towels in general. We also will still have/get paper towels for guests. I bought two dark grey microfiber rolls for ONLY my fiance and I to use on anything basic like drying our hands or needing to wipe our mouths after eating. We also use them to put washed veggies on like cucumbers or need to wipe down the counter around the sink of water splashes or fruit juices etc.. and once we're done using the towel, we just toss it in a bin that I have set up near the sink. Once the bin gets full, I wash them and repeat! The two rolls of microfiber towels lasted us about 2 months, household of just 2. We do a lot of cooking and I tend to use them more often because I always find myself cutting fruits and veggies and cleaning light messes on the counter everyday. The dark Grey helps hide any stains that might not be able to come off when washing (like if im eating oily spicy food that cover my lips with spicy red oils and I use the towel to wipe my mouth, a lighter color towel would show that stain where the dark grey wouldnt). Again, we dont use them on anything raw like raw meat/seafood juices spilled. I still need to find a good sanitized system for that if I do decide to use the towels for raw stuff, Id obviously get a seperate color coded towel specifically for that and maybe a seperate stainless steel bin filled with maybe water, lemon or vinegar to toss the used towels in ? Idk, anyways thats for another day to think about and it will be a while until I fully switch to do that. But for now these microfiber towels are nice for basic everyday kitchen use, and its a small but big step closer to going green!

I first tried microfiber clothes in 2000, they were made by 3M. I was in love! You could clean grease off the stove or range hood with just water. Cleaning glass was a breeze. As long as you washed them by themselves, they would stay lint free. Sadly, over the years I wore them out. I have been trying to find replacement for them for decades with no luck, until now. The Fantasticlean Microfiber Cleaning Cloth Roll is unbelievably good, perfect even! They clean with water, dry things spotlessly and most importantly, they don't snag. I couldn't be happier.
