Yes, the rain gauge is able to mount on the fence post. There is one keyhole slots on the back of rain gauge. Through it, you can hang the rain gauge anywhere you want.

Scale, am used to reading rainfall in inches and 10th of inches, your gauge is in 8th of inches. Wish I noticed this before purchasing..oh well?
