Works quite well. It's rare to have such a powerful WiFi-connected option on a budget light. Even some of the high end lights are Bluetooth-only, requiring you to be at home to control it.

So far so good. The wifi controller is running my astra 120 on my aquarium. I set it up and now i have full control of the lights colors and can set it up on a schedule so it turns on and off by itself

Worked well for a while and stopped working all of a sudden.

The controller allows you to connect your aquarium Lominie light to the internet. This is great because it allows you to set times for your lights relieving you of the manual duty of turning the light on and off. The biggest downside is the app used to control the lights is terrible and extremely restrictive. It is not at all made for aquarium lighting even though it is advertised to control your aquarium lights. What I mean specifically is that you cannot ramp on or ramp off the lights. The most I could figure out was that I can make up to 6 timer settings. This means that to "ramp" on you have to have low light, then medium, and then high. You would reverse this for ramping off. This is more like a "step" than a ramp to turn the lights on or off. There is a "gradual on/off" setting but you can't use it in the timer mode and the name is very literal. When you select this setting, it will gradually go between on and off within the selected time (max 1 hr). It won't just go on or off it will continuously go between the two settings "on/off". Functions do the same thing so functions cannot be used to create a smooth ramp on or off. Even if you created a custom function, it will not show up in the timer functions. This app is super limited yet it is marketed to control your aquarium lighting. The WiFi controller app feels like it is really designed to control any generic LED light strip. If the product developer is reading this, please give us an app that is geared toward controlling lights for an aquarium. My advice would be to make your own WiFi controller and programming it using basic programming. If you are an engineer, this would be a great and fun project. Even if you aren't an engineer, I'd still try to make this a project you can learn from. I think it would better than spending $20 on something that is going to disappoint you. I am kind of split between whether I like or dislike this product. The product works but the controlling app is so limited. At least I can get some super basic autonomous control over the lights for my nano aquarium.

These work fantastic with my Asta F120s! I can use them to turn off the red spectrum to eliminate fan noise!
