This X-Acto style knife set is excellent for crafts, detail work, and small cutting projects and exactly what I was looking for. The handles feel comfortable and easy to control, and the SK5 steel blades are very sharp right out of the package. I like that it comes with multiple knives and replacement blades, making it useful for everything from paper crafts to hobby projects and careful box opening. The cuts feel clean and precise instead of jagged or rough. Great value for the price and a really useful little toolkit to keep around for creative projects or fine detail work.

Great feeling set... The handles could be just a little heavier in the hand but overall, very happy with the feel and sharpness as well as all the blade options. The Carrying case is a great addition as well with a magnet holding the spare blades in place. Would definitely recommend. And can't beat the price.

It's a very good kit, and I like the packaging. Especially the magnetic bar that holds the blades in place.I like having several different handles for different applications. I build models, make customizations with them, as well as other plastic accessories, and this kit has been great for that. I suppose the only real downsides have been that it can be precarious getting the blades out of the holders. These are so sharp, just looking at them wrong draws blood, and they're in little form fitted slots that are difficult to get under with a fingernail or other blade,and when you do manage it, they can sometimes release from the magnet very energetically. I've had one fly across the room,bounce off a wall, and land right beside my dog. No one was hurt, but it was definitely an anxious moment.Pulling the various knives from the case can be precarious, too, because the packaging is designed to be more efficient than usable. Everything is really tightly packed with very little room for manipulation.I wish I had gotten blade covers (like most hobby knives come with) so I could keep them out of the original packaging safely, but I'm not keen on leaving bare razor blades sitting out loose on the table, so back into the case they go.The knives themselves seem to be quality. All the mechanisms work well, and they're sturdy. The plastic, ergonomic handle is especially comfortable when you're trying to slice through a thicker piece of plastic, giving a better grip and more control in my handling of the blade. The large barrel handle would do this as well, but the "screwdriver" style handle is very comfortable to use.I do recommend this kit, but just be safe when handling it. (As you should with any bladed instrument)

You literally cannot beat the price of $3.99 for three very fun, vibrant, beautifully colored exacto knives with two dozen extra blades. I use them for basic crafting, opening packages, trimming vinyl and little paper projects, and they handle all of that no problem. The colors actually make it easier to spot them on a messy desk, which sounds dumb but is super helpful when you’re mid-project and everything is chaos.The extra #11 blades are a big win too — you don’t feel bad swapping a dull blade because you’ve got plenty of backups. The blades are reasonably sharp and precise, maybe not quite as “butter smooth” as the fancy name brand X-Acto handles and blades, but honestly good enough for 95% of normal hobby use.Only small downside for me is the handles are pretty lightweight and don’t have any rubber grip, so if you’re working for a long time or your hands get a little sweaty, they can feel a bit slippery and cheap. Also, the caps don’t lock on super tight, so you gotta be a bit careful tossing them into a drawer or pencil cup.Overall though, for the price and the amount of blades you get, this is kind of a no brainer set if you need a few knives to spread around your workspace, kitchen junk drawer, or craft bin.
