New York Puzzle Company - Victo Ngai Sweet Dreams - 1000 Romantic Piece Jigsaw Puzzle by Victo Ngai

We love the images on this series, they give a sensation of surrealism with a great taste. This one is not much bigger in size from the 500 pieces ones of the same series, but the pieces are smaller. And the cuts in the pieces are different than other puzzles, that I think is really interesting, and makes it more challenging. Sometimes we got confuse about some of the pieces because they are so similar in some parts, and strange cuts, but we think is part of the puzzle experience. At the end is really satisfying to see it all done. We are looking forward to frame it, because is just like a pretty painting. If you like kinda hard puzzles this one is a good one.

My family and I like setting puzzles together, so I buy a new puzzle every year for our family at the holidays - this was our Christmas puzzle this year. It was fun to put together - it took us about 7 hours total to finish. The puzzle is well-made. The pieces are nice and thick and sturdy. The paper overlay is adhered to the pieces very well - no raised edges. The pieces also fit together with no loose gaps. The pieces are all very random shapes - not the typical shapes you see with most puzzles. Some people like these odd shapes, while others prefer a more standard puzzle shape. Finding the edge pieces was somewhat of a challenge since many of the interior pieces also have what looks like a straight edge on them. The illustration of this puzzle is interesting to look at and I like the muted colors (they fit well with our Christmas decor theme - which is one of the reasons I bought this puzzle). We always prefer 1000-piece puzzles and really like the challenging puzzles best. I wouldn't say this is a very challenging puzzle, but it was still fun to assemble. I was disappointed that this puzzle didn't come with a poster/print of the completed puzzle. Because of this, you only have the puzzle cover to refer to. Most puzzles we get have that printed poster, and we find it very helpful. Overall, we enjoyed this puzzle and appreciate the high quality. I do recommend it!

This was my first 1000 piece puzzle. I have tried one other and it was ridiculously difficult and I gave it away. This one was challenging without being defeating. The quality is nice. All the pieces were in the box. And it will look great framed.

This puzzle has interesting piece shapes and is beautiful and fun to work on. Stays together well but also comes apart readily when ready to pack away. It's one of my favorites I've ever done, and I'll keep it to do again.

Love this company’s puzzles

Loved this puzzle. Such interesting and weird shapes. Difficult but fun. And beautiful!

Missing couple of pieces, cannot be completed.

These puzzles are advertised as 'random cut' puzzles. However, they contain at most 5 - 10 randomly cut pieces. Apparently puzzles of this company exist where the many pieces are randomly cut. So misleading advertising. This is a beautiful, fine puzzle otherwise, challenging in parts such as the sky. The pieces were contained in a paper bag, good for the company, bad for owners since the first thing I have to do is put the pieces in a resealable plastic bag. All pieces were there. The pieces leave a lot of dust especially compared with puzzles of other companies.
