**Q: Is this microwaveable?**
A: Yes, But we don't suggest to put in the mircowave.

**Q: Will the ants get into the bowl?**
A: NO, I put vegetable oil to the moat, ants die in the oil.

**Q: Maybe I missed it, but how many ounces does this bowl hold?**
A: I measured 2 cups (16 ounces ) and it was filled to the brim.

**Q: How much water will the moat hold?**
A: Not much, it is a little thinner than it looks in the pictures - it is very helpful to have though. Our dog ends up trying to lick the water out of the moat when it gets in there.

We were having problems with our cats dropping a piece of their dry food on the ground which attracted ants Then the ants would get in the bowl. This product has eliminated both problems. Now if they drop food it goes in the moat and we haven’t seen a single ant.

Best purchase ever! We had a problem with ants going in the cats food and this actually keeps bugs out of her food. And if I use my Roomba and forget to move the food, it doesnt make a mess. The Roomba sees it as an obstruction and works around them.
