Built to last.
I ordered this tent as a replacement for the Marmot limelight 2P that I have been using now for over a decade. While my old tent is still worthy and in service, I felt it was time for a new one. This version is a welcome upgrade of my original. The quality is exceptional, tape job on the seams are spot on, the zippers are solid and open / close effortlessly. The best improvement is a second door and a second vestibule ( slightly smaller than the main one). Everything about this tent is solid and well worth the carrying weight. If it is anything like my current model (and I suspect it is) it will hold up to strong winds using the provided guylines and will stay high and dry in the heaviest rain. The only complaint I have ( if I can have one) is it only comes with 4 guylines and 6 tent stakes. I like to personally use more, but it is sufficient for most situations. I recommend this item without reservation.

Not Ultralight, but great Backpacking Tent!
Took this for a 3 week, 150 mile backpacking trip. Still feels brand new. Used it every night. If you're more concerned with a reliable, comfortable tent - this is a great backpacking tent. By breaking up the items into their own stuff bags, I was able to easily fit the tent, footprint and stakes inside my backpack. Only the poles had to be stashed on the side of my bag. It's not ultra light - but it withstood wind of up to 60mph (with the guy lines staked out and all stakes having rocks on top of them) on the top of a mountain. Also held up well in snow, light hail, and lots of thunderstorms. Never got wet inside, even with sideways rain. The 2p comfortably fit myself and my gear completely inside. The two doors and vestibules were nice - would keep my pack in one vestibule in good weather, and use the other as my door. Enough room to stretch, change clothes, roll out muscles, and generally be dry, warm and comfy. Private and not transparent. No condensation. Leave the rain fly off on warm, dry nights for a great breeze. Best part is by the end of the trip I could set up and break down the tent in about 2 minutes by myself. In bad weather or emergencies, this is a great feature. Tent stakes did bend fairly easily in rocky ground like most aluminum hook stakes, but still work. That's the only damage I managed to inflict on this tent.

Grommet grenade
Amazing tent, kept me dry and had enough room for myself and all my gear. Was easy to set up but i had a lot of issues with the zippers snagging everything. Unfortunately on my first go with it i was setting it up and one of the grommets for the poles blew and the tent fell over. Was able to finish the weekend without it but i feel its necessary to have.

High value and great performance.
I purchased this tent two years ago and have used it in a rotation with other tents. It gets passed over for the other tents only because of its size. To be clear this is NOT a flaw in tent design, construction or materials. This is a compact, two person tent. It works well for one adult with a pack. My son and I were able to share this tent but space was very tight. Again, not a flaw. This tent is compact so plan accordingly. It’s very easy to pitch this tent without assistance. Breaking it down and drying the tent after use is also very simple. One adult can easily manage this tent without assistance and the process shouldn’t take long. I am careful with this tent as much of the tent body is mesh. I also have used the footprint every time I use the tent. Before placing the footprint I clear any debris or hazards - rocks, sticks, etc. following this process I have experienced ZERO problems. Not a single leak in several storms. We’ve never had any issues with wind or insects getting in so long as the doors are kept closed. There are lighter tents for those who are seeking ultra-light, low carrying weight. If you are comfortable with the dimensions of this tent AND you are careful with it I expect it will serve you well. I purchased this tent on sale and in hindsight should have purchased two of them. A+ Marmot!

Best tent I've owned
I got the 3p which fits a double sleeping pad and a double/queen sized sleeping bag and so I have a bit more room to move around. I like that there's a door on both sides so there's no stepping over each other. And when the rain fly is on there's a good amount of "porch" storage space for shoes and keeping your gear dry without having to take up space inside the tent. The pole is an X design which is really easy to set up. Overall it's the best tent I've had and I'm planning on keeping it for well over 20 years

Great quality!
Fantastic quality. Have used for multiple camping trips! It’s a tight fit for two people so definitely need to cozy up but it’s very easy to setup, it’s been through quite a few rains successfully and generally cozy! This may just be me, but I also love the green color, the sun coming through is so beautiful! There is an option to ventilate well but if you want to stay warm, it’s easy to bundle up and retain your heat!

Amazing tent
This is the best tent I've ever owned. Bought it about 6 months ago, and I use it at least once a month for at least 2-3 nights each time. In heavy rains, absolutely nothing makes it in. It stays incredibly warm in the winter as well. It's small and compact, but large enough to fit everything in. It easily fits into my backpack or camping tote and weighs almost nothing. Everything is well-stitched and I anticipate it will last many years.

Excellent tent
Well built, easy to put up and take down. A perfect choice for 2 people and their stuff. Seams are well sealed, good zippers, and a user friendly stuff sack. Some may consider that a small detail, but I own several other tents including a high end four season tent, and you need to be an engineer to fit all the components back in the sack! Not a problem with this tent. The poles are durable and it does well in the wind. I'm certain you can spend a lot more on a lighter, fancier tent for backpacking, but after several trips afield, I feel I got plenty of bang for my buck with this tent. Looking forward to more adventures with this as my shelter!
