I started taking manuka honey for acid reflux and this has helped immensely. I can't help but feel like the price is a bit high, but it seems that most of the manuka honeys that have actual UMF ratings are at this price range. I only take a teaspoon a day because of the price, but feel much better both physically and mentally about taking natural honey as opposed to a chemical antacid. My jar of honey was not missing a chunk from the top, and the consistency seems normal compared to other brands of manuka honey I have taken before. I don't have a problem with the taste either. It doesn't seem too sweet or too bitter. I will most likely re-order this again once I finish this jar.
