A: Why would they? Bring it in if you know it’s going to freeze! If it freezes that’s your own fault! 
That said, this gauge is NOT accurate, so don’t buy it in the first place!

There is one keyhole slots on the back of rain gauge. Through it, you can hang the rain gauge anywhere you want.

**Q: Scale, am used to reading rainfall in inches and 10th of inches, your gauge is in 8th of inches. Wish I noticed this before purchasing..oh well?**
A: It’s in 10th of inches, but it isn’t accurate. Don’t buy it!
