Been using this for over a year I’ve been using Highland Hair Clay and it’s honestly become one of those products I keep reaching for every day. The biggest thing I noticed right away was how good my hair feels after using it. A lot of styling products either leave my hair feeling stiff, crunchy, greasy, or weighed down—but this gives hold while still keeping my hair feeling healthy and natural. The scent is another huge plus. It smells really nice without being overpowering—clean, fresh, and noticeable in a good way. I also really appreciate the ingredient quality. It feels like care actually went into what’s in the product instead of just focusing on hold alone. My hair feels conditioned and healthier compared to some stronger styling products I’ve tried before. Performance-wise, it gives great texture and control while still letting my hair move naturally throughout the day. Easy to apply, easy to restyle, and washes out without a struggle. Overall, Highland Hair Clay has been an awesome balance of styling performance, feel, and quality ingredients. As a professional haircut specialist, I’m all about versatility and suitability, I love that it fits to all hair types such as density and texture, obviously depending on which techniques you do on each hairstyle. If you looking for light to strong hold, this product has it all. If you looking for a STRONGER hold, get a hairspray. It’s very easy to apply on your palm to emulsify, it creates that nice heat to help it melts smoothly, it glides really smoothly on to the hair like butter without the chuck or gritty feeling. Would I recommend this on wet hair, no. But on damp hair, yes. Therefore, dry hair too can be easy to apply. The price is very reasonable because it has the high end salon quality and the thin package doesn’t create any mold at all, it helps the lid to tighten to clay pomade so it stays the same texture and consistency. Im glad that this company chose the metal thin material instead of plastic. It doesn’t leave your hair dry after hours. It is very moisturizing. It has the conditioning humectant ingredients, so you can definitely see the shine. I wouldn’t recommend oil. This product is enough if you’re looking for all in one.

I LOVE THIS CLAY. I've tried tons of different clays, sprays, and pomades and have squeezed every lemon in existence to give my hair some nice highlights. My hair still doesn't look like a movie star with all the lemon juice, but I at least found Highland Glacial Clay which accentuates my hair's straight/wavy nature. The clay itself feels very natural with no greasy chemicals that would make you have second thoughts about putting into your hair. In terms of hold, I would describe it as a medium hold. For me, I live in the south where the humidity likes turn it up to max during the summer. Luckily, this clay gives me about a good 6-8 hours of hold/styling. The clay doesn't feel like it turns your hair into glue. If anything, it makes my hair look even more natural and gives a lot more definition without being the clay bean overly thick to accomplish a desired hold. On a side note, not important to me in particular, but there is very little trace of a smell with clay if that is important to you. My only problem with this product is that Mr. Krabs set the price. It's a tad expensive and the product size is small. Otherwise, I think this clay gives a nice happy medium in terms of hold and also feels very organic.

Used this for the first time today, initial reaction was that the container is half the size of my normal pomade and cost more. Initially I wasn't a fan of the way the product smelled. Not overbearing but didn't smell minty fresh like my Reuzel that I've been using for the last year. Today is the first day using it and my hair has held all day and doesn't smell bad as far as I can tell, so no complaints. If it only lasts a few months I may go back to Reuzel, but time will tell.

Would’ve been 5 stars but this product is a nightmare to get off hands, styling gets easy, will last 7 hours but even with the good ingredients. It most definitely will cause build up that can be a negative effect of scalp benefits so returned the product

I used it for a slick-back bun, and it worked amazingly! It gave me a smooth, bump-free finish with great hold, and I love that it’s made with all-natural ingredients. The only feedback I have is about the scent. It’s a bit earthy for my personal preference, but I understand that’s expected with an all-natural product. Overall, I’m really happy with it! I can confidently say this is 100% natural. In the past, artificial and synthetic styling products always triggered headaches for me, but this pomade gives me zero issues. It is completely unscented, clean, and very easy to work into your hair. The hold easily lasts the entire day. A quick tip: start with a small amount and build up as needed depending on your hair type. Plus, if you don't shampoo daily, you’ll notice the hold easily carries over for a couple of days without feeling gross or greasy.

I had to write a quick review because I see people saying bad things about this product. This product is the greatest hair clay I had ever used. The fact it's all natural is unbelievable. This product nourishes and renews your hair and scalp, I've seen such an improvement in the quality of my hair these past few months, I find it crazy. Here's the deal. If you're a little effort person and not taking care of your hair with proper shampooing techniques and proper products, then don't expect this to be a one-stop fixall product. It's the cherry ontop of a already great hair routine. I've found it to work on all hair lengths. I get my hair cut short and let it grow it. I never have an issue with not having it work. And no, I nobody bribed me to make this review. Support small businesses.

I wouldn't say I noticed a huge difference than other fairly well regarded pomades, and given the high cost I probably won't buy again. Not a bad product. Doesn't smell that great though.

It's ok, I like the smell. I wouldn't say a medium hold - more of a 'light' hold. I get that this is a product with more natural ingredients, but I have bought better at a much cheaper price point.
