Trumpet Repair Kit with Valve Springs Felt Washers Water Key Corks

Worked perfectly! Took me about 2 minutes to repair my trumpet and now it plays perfectly again.

My kid left his trumpet unattended to all summer so when school started, we realized that 2 valves were stuck, even after cleaning and oiling. A couple of valve guides broke and we replaced it with these. The trumpet was a Jean Paul TR-330 purchased on Amazon. Highly recommend!

Recently refurbished a 100-year-old trumpet and a 75-year-old trumpet. These parts fit well except for the nylon spring guides - too tight for the vintage horns. You can insert them but not turn them sideways to accept the springs.

The items in this kit are junk! The valve guides are too thick to fit any of my trumpets. The top black felts are shedding lint so badly everything in the kit is covered with it! Also, they are too thick for the top valve caps. The springs are too long and the tension is too stiff! The above mentioned just immediately went into the trash! I might be able to use the white felts and the corks. Time will tell. Granted this is a cheap kit BUT it is JUNK! I would rate this as -10 if that was an option! It is a REAL shame that Amazon allows this poor quality of product to be sold on their site!

Overall the package was fine. Springs are WAY too tense. Makes it difficult to use. I’d say it’s a cheap fix, but unless these springs are being used for speed training, I wouldn’t buy them.

There is replacement parts for two sets of valves - 6 felts, 6 guides etc, but only 3 springs so only one trumpet repair is possible. They need to add 3 more springs to the kit.
