Does anyone know why it is so expensive? Around 15$ for a pouch. 330 calories. I can't afford to keep buying :(

Easey to use. Tastes ok. Helps the patient put on weight.

I have a g tube and have tried 3 other formulas and all upset my stomach due to the heavy oil contact. This is the ONLY formula that does not make me feel like yuck after a feeding session. I use water or bone broth to thin out formula a bit. Ordered Salmon as I hate seafood so this is a great way to get the salmon nutrients without actually tasting it !

My son is on a blended diet that we make for him at home everyday. Traveling is an issue because you never know... The Real Food Blends have made things some much easier, he tolerates them exceptionally well and they are easy to use. Tear open a pouch, use a syringe to draw up and push in. We use the bolus extension as the blends can be thick, but it's easy to thin out with a little water. The biggest draw back is there is no easy way to close pouch if you don't use it all (we just place it into a ziplock bag) and the cost if insurance isn't paying. To us it's worth the cost. We also keep a box on hand encase of power outage and we are unable to use our blender and make the homemade blend.

This is a very great product. I have two gtube fed (pump) children ages 12 and 13. This has not only helped them nutritionally but digestively as well. All three bags of flavors work well and provide 8 oz/300 to 350 calories. The ground beef is thickest, next is chicken and the thinnest is the Salmon. I have to add liquid and blend both the chicken and the ground beef to get the pumps to pump continuously, but the salmon goes through without adding liquids. I love this option to my children's diet!! They both get three bags daily to supplement their diet which totals 30.00 daily! I figured out my healthy childrens daily spending and diet and it was comparable. I am so happy to have this option and by subscribing I always know I am stocked plus I save money!
