These are well made, smooth, and ready to decorate. They can be stained, clear coated, painted with acrylic, pens, and my personal use, watercolors. I used titanium white watercolor ground, let dry, then lightly sanded to prep them for watercolors. Other mediums would not need that step. I’m making Christmas ornaments for my granddaughters. One loves horses, the other loves volleyball. I’ve created a design on both sides of the prepped “coasters” for each of them. I will be drilling a hole in each and threading a ribbon through for hanging on the Christmas tree. I will also use a finishing spray as watercolors need protection. I will post a picture when they are finished.

I had these engraved and they turned out nice. I did put wood oil on them after engraving to bring out the design better. The only problem to point out is if you are engrave, watch the wood grain. It could affect the design.

I cannot express love the craft we made with these enough! We needed something for our tables for an event and these hit the spot! We were able to wood burn a design and drill a hole for a flag holder! Perfect centerpieces! Great quality and weight.

Love these solid wood coasters for crafts and laser engraving. Uniform in size. These are not bonded wood pieces, but whole pieces. Warning: This does mean that if it gets wet, it may warp, unless proper treatment is applied (oiling / waxing)

Bele qualité. J'ai dessiné avec un crayon feutre à pointe fine. Faire attention pour ne pas que le feutre s'étende. J'ai verni 4-5 couches pour un belle effet et avoir une douceur du sous-verre. Cela a permis aussi de bloquer le feutre. C'était un cadeau de mariage. J'ai acheté des petits sacs pour les mettre dedans.
