Owala FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle 24 oz Denim

I purchased this bottle just to try out in the summer of 2023. It is now the summer of 2026 and I still use it multiple times a week (only because I now have multiple Owalas and I have just ordered my third Owala FreeSip). I have used so many cups—Stanleys, Yetis, Hydrojugs, Hydroflask, etc—and the Owala is still my favorite. Here’s my favorite things about it: LEAKPROOF! This is the biggest one. I can throw it my bag and trust that everything will stay dry. THE SPOUT! Hands down the best spout I’ve ever used. I love that I can sip through the straw but then close the lid and keep my straw clean and not have any spills if it tips over. And then it also gives me the option to absolutely inhale water if I’m about to shrivel up from dehydration. I think this alone is why I now own three in different sizes. STAYS COLD! The 32 ounce holds ice for quite a while. It varies depending on how often I refill it but if I’m not constantly refilling it, it will hold ice for about 24 hours. THE SIZES! I love the size options. My original one was a 32 ounce and is a great middle ground for me. It holds enough water that I’m not refilling it every hour but it’s not huge. It’s great for work and this bottle will be going to live at my job. I just ordered the 40 ounce for home because I want a little more volume when I’m outside gardening but I can’t say much about the 40 ounce size yet. I also have a 16 ounce (kids size) that I use when I leave the house. It fits in a lot of my bags and it’s leakproof so I always have cold water with me. It’s perfect especially since I’m on medication that causes dehydration if I’m not careful. DISHWASHER SAFE! This one is self explanatory. It’s amazing and I love it. There are a few cons though. The first one is that the 32 ounce doesn’t fit in my cup holder. Not a huge deal since it’s leakproof—I just keep it on the passenger seat. But Owala does have cup holder friendly options now if that’s something you want. The bottle also does dent and scratch fairly easily. I dropped it getting out my car one day and it’s a little beat up now. Kind ugly, but it’s still my fave. It’s kinda disappointing because I have Yetis and Stanleys that have been through far worse and still look new. Just be mindful of that and baby it a little. Still 100% worth it though. Long story short, it’s a great bottle that will keep your water cold and everything else dry. As someone who has used this bottle regularly for years, I highly recommend!

This bottle does exactly what it's supposed to do. Yes, it's small, but that's the point. There are definitely pros and cons. The obvious downside is that I have to refill it a few times throughout the day. On the other hand, it's incredibly convenient. It's not too heavy when full, fits easily in my bag and my spin bike's water bottle holder, and the locking latch doubles as a carrying handle. I've even clip it to my fanny pack with a carabiner for hands-free trips to the gym. It keeps drinks cold exceptionally well. I usually fill it with ice, and it lasts all day and overnight. One unexpected benefit is that it fits perfectly in the portable "ADHD caddy" I carry from room to room, which has actually helped me stay hydrated because my water is always with me. (I wrote a separate review about that caddy if you're curious.) If you want a bottle that travels well, doesn't leak, and keeps your drinks ice cold, this is a great choice. I also get a ton of compliments from both men and women on the color (Pink/Purple, Darling Diva). It's a less common color. So, it's a great conversation starter at the gym especially!

Love this thing. The Owala brand of water bottles is the best in my opinion. It is large enough to keep me hydrated for all of my outdoor time & then some. And boy does it keep it icy. I forgot & left it in my car for almost two days & when I opened it to clean it still had some ice in it. The car was parked in the shade but In Florida summer heat, I still call that IMPRESSIVE. Also love the built in straw and spout configuration. Obviously the thinking man's (or woman's) water bottle. This is my go to water bottle and is well worth the price.

I absolutely love my Owala! 💚 The color is even better in person—it’s the perfect mix of trendy, classic, and neutral. The bottle keeps my drinks cold for hours, doesn’t leak, and the FreeSip design makes it so easy to drink on the go. I also love that I can sip or use the built-in straw depending on what I’m in the mood for. It’s become my everyday water bottle, and I get compliments on the color all the time. If you’re debating getting one, just do it—you won’t regret it!

I really love this Owala! The 24 oz size is perfect for everyday use and it’s easy to carry around. It keeps my water cold for a long time, and I really like the lid because it’s convenient and doesn’t leak. It feels sturdy, looks great, and has quickly become my favorite water bottle!

So I own the 40oz and 24oz. The 40 is great for long term backpacking or all day drinking but will not fit into standard car small vehicle cup holders.maybe truck and suv. The 24oz will fit everywhere. Both keep ice cold for 24hrs. Just make sure you don’t lose the straw. If you use ice balls or cubes they last a lot longer. Great product and doesn’t leak. I got the black ones don’t care about the other colors. Do scratch over time but if you don’t drop them great value for the money you spend

I love owala bottles, they are so well made. My kids are rough and careless. They drop their bottles 10 times a day. Other brands we tried would dent so easily and would leak. But I've had this bottle for a while now without issues. It has a few dents but honestly not bad at all. It keeps water cold for a while. Plus the large size allows my kjds to have water all day with minimal refills.

Love owala for their free sip and straw options in one cup. Pop open design easy enough for my six year old to use on his own. Slim handle that easily flips open and folds down when not in use. Very sturdy. Holds hot or cold liquids. Overall great cup. Would buy again.
