Perfect teapot really. -The jug is big enough to make about four big mugs of tea, or a much larger number of small cups. -The infuser is just about big enough to let a full jug's worth of leaves swell and move around, but if you prefer to give them more space then you can just use the jug without the infuser. -The lid sits happily on the jug whether the infuser is in or not, meaning that you don't have to leave it in while your tea stews. -You can put it on the hob to warm your tea, so an hour-old pot won't have to be tipped down the sink. Absolutely fine over a naked flame, in my experience - there's no discolouration, less still any damage. -It looks great, in my opinion. I don't know what else you want from a teapot, but that's about the lot as far as I'm concerned.

I was looking for an easy to use, easy to clean and decent sized infuser tea pot for loose tea. When it arrived I thought it was smaller than stated and that the infuser was also a bit on the small side as well. I needn't have worried. It holds 1.5 litres and the infuser works well, with no bits escaping. Holds temperature and pours without any issues. As an avid tea drinker I'm very happy with this purchase...

I've been looking for a suitable glass teapot for a while now - it had to have a couple of must have features - be clear (obviously), be able to have some sort of filtering device built into the teapot itself, and be able to retain the lid when pouring (ok - that's three points). This pot fulfills all three requirements and looks good and is light - brilliant ! The only one downside to it currently (which I haven't worked out yet but maybe I'm using it wrong), is that the bit where you put your tea in is quite long and narrow which can make emptying it quite difficult if you don't use liberal amount of water to swirl everything out (I don't like to do this as most of the loose tea then ends up going down the drain and potentially causing a blockage) - I tend to try and use my fingers to grab the loose bits of tea and as it's long and narrow it's not easy to do ... EDIT 15-JUL-17 - I've since discovered a way of getting the tea out easily and that's just to turn the metal holder upside down and give it a few sharp taps on the side of the bin. Rinse with water and repeat. Apart from that caveat - which may not be an issue for you - I'd strongly recommend this teapot.

Beautiful item with decent capacity, but will it last? Got mine in June 2017. Used it twice a month as I am a coffee drinker. I. e. have not used it more than 30 times so far. The upper cap got unglued with no reason. Very disappointed indeed as there is no way to glue it back. Nice item, but it is not practical as the construction quality seems to be poor.

I love this teapot. It's so easy to use and it only takes seconds to clean it after use. The infuser is fine and doesn't let the tea leaves pass through into the drink. The spout doesn't drip. The lid is easy to open and it's easy to remove the infuser with a small handle attached to it. The infuser reaches almost to the bottom of the teapot which is important to me as it keeps the tea in the water for longer as cups are poured and the water level begins to go down. The glass feels strong and thick, including the handle. Feels very safe to use. Overall, I'm so impressed and highly recommend!!

Great 4 cup/3 mug teapot. Easy to use, and great to see how the tea is brewing. After brewing, the leaf holder will sit securely at an angle in the lid surround allowing it to drain before removal. It was also both light and robust. However, after 18 months, I noticed that where the lid extension rests just above the handle when the lid is open, a tiny 1mm high by the width of that extension hole had opened, plus a split was starting to run off to one side round the top of the handle. Can't help visualising what might have happened when lifting a full pot of hot tea had I not noticed. Goodbye glass teapot, back to ceramic for its replacement.

Quite simply put, without a lengthy rambling review, this is the very best teapot i have ever used! 1st the strainer works well, and is very easy to empty and keep clean - its beautifully made from stainless steel. The teapot has a great capacity, I drink various green teas and Orange Blossom Oolong tea, and I can make a pot and keep returning for fills! Its glass and very easy to keep clean. It doesn't drip when poured. A True tea lovers dream come true!

Brilliant tea pot. Comes to pieces for cleaning (even metal bit comes off), has a removable sieve for loose tea, lid is metal and attached to collar so it doesn’t fall in to the cup, lovely big handle to hold it by and a tidy little spout that pours well ......now I could just manage not to break this one 🙄

Sin olvidar que es una tetera de cristal y que por ello vamos a tener que manejarla con mas cuidado que una de metal por su evidente fragilidad, me parece una buena compra. La he puesto al fuego directo y va fantástica, ha hervido y su asa de cristal mas grueso esta fria. La parte metalica de arriba es muy simple pero parece efectiva, esta muy bién rematado y se integran perfectamente parte metalica y parte de cristal. Muy facil de lavar y volver a montar para usar de nuevo. La quinta estrella la tiene mas que merecida ya que cabe perfectamente en microondas quitando por supuesto la parte de arriba y calentar de esa manera. De buen tamaño también entra bién en neveras, de cara a usarla en verano. Después de una mala experiéncia con la última tetera que era IBILI de acero inoxidable en la que bebí de ella durante mas de dos años con aparente normalidad hasta que la punta soldada donde pasa todo el thé al verter estaba oxidada y el oxido la despegó. Da mucho asco pensar que todo el thé haya pasado por aqui y creo que a partir de ahora las proximas serán de cristal, por mas frágiles que puedan ser.

Sie ist für den relativ üppigen Inhalt - 1200 ml bedeutet randvoll - zierlich und leicht, auch gefüllt liegt sie gut in der Hand und gießt, ohne zu tropfen. Der Edelstahldeckel ist abnehmbar, er sitzt an einem Ring, der per Federdruck einrastet und somit nicht abfallen kann. Der Ring lässt sich drehen und damit justieren. Der Filter - sehr zart und fein - lässt sich nach der Ziehzeit separat entnehmen. Die Kanne passt auf jedes normale Stövchen, und alle Teile lassen sich im Geschirrspüler reinigen. Da der Preis auch in Ordnung ist - ich habe von Hilison Young sogar noch 3 € rückerstattet bekommen - spricht nichts gegen ehrliche 5 Sterne. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist die Übersetzung der Produktbeschreibung. So besteht die Kanne natürlich nicht aus 80% Silikon (!) sondern aus 80% Silizium(dioxid). Sehr merkwürdig ist auch der Text unter: "Bitte beachten Sie!" Aber das tut der Sache an sich keinen Abbruch, mit etwas Phantasie kann man auch das verstehen.

I like this teapot so much I bought one for each of my children and their families. Its pours without dripping. The handle never gets too hot to handle. The double skin keeps the tea hotter for longer. The basket is deep enough to be able to brew just enough for one cup. The pot is also a sufficient size for 4 full mugs of tea. An excellent buy.

El producto llego bien embalado y en el tiempo estimado. Probado para hacer infusión y perfecto. Además, el asa esta bien separada del recipiente, con espacio para que al cogerla no quemarse con el agua hirviendo. Y el cilindro donde se introduce la infusión, se puede extraer para su fácil limpieza. Y, por muy picado que este el té, poleo, etc. no pasa nada al agua. Buena compra, encantado

Rimane un po’ macchiata anche dopo lavaggio in lavastoviglie. Il calore sul fornello funziona bene anche se sento un odore cattivo se portata a bollore. A vedersi è molto bella ed elegante, può essere lasciata anche vuota sui fornelli come oggetto d’arredo. È molto leggera, quasi non sembra essere di vetro. Concludo dicendo che nonostante sia un buon acquisto credo sia decisamente troppo caro, l’avrei pagata massimo la metà
