If you do not have one, you will need to purchase one. I was not aware as when I asked questions it said it came with everything needed. We had to go back and purchase the pump and hoses. It did not come with clamps for the hoses but my husband was able to use items we already had at home. We do not have any leaks. So far it has been running about two weeks. Our tank was very green from the algae build up. It took about a week to clear our 300 gallon stock tank up once it was set up. Other reviews mentioned the UV light quit working. I will update my review if it does.
