Excellent feed for chickens!
My chickens and I LOVE this feed! Lots of yummy grains, not processed pellets. My chickens look great, are laying beautiful eggs and definitely love when I fill the feeders! Great value for the money.

Too much powder.
Has a lot of powder/dust in the bag instead of seed/whole grains. Seems like it needs to be a little less ground and my chickens would like it more. I bought an extra bag by accident so now I’m stuck with it since it isn’t a returnable item and the order couldn’t be canceled.

My chicken's like it.
My chickens seem to like it. However, they tend to leave the small pieces and don't wish to eat the leftovers when the large pieces are gone. As a remedy, I place the remaining food in water and let it ferment. I hate to waste the food, considering it's of high quality.

Good quality but just too much waste to warrant the price
Really wanted to love this brand, but it does have a lot more powdery substance to it that the chickens just won’t eat. So that gets wasted. Also unless you live local to their warehouse sadly it’s just astronomical to order this feed. You can buy it locally from them for 30 or $40 but if you order it online, you’re paying anywhere from $80-$100.

BE SURE YOU WANT "Pasture Perfect"
Great brand and a wonderful healthy food. However I should have bought the standard grower feed they have and not Pasture Perfect. My girls are in a large run in the winter and grubs are few and far between to forage in it. I had to supplement some protein in leu of the lack of foraging pasture this feed was calculated for. My bad... but the girls loved in anyway, especially fermented, and didn't mind eating extra protein treats separately.

Waste
Half is wasted because it's just powder and the chickens won't eat it
