Rich Flavor and Low Spicy Heat
The ingredients list on the Mekhala Tikka Masala Cooking Paste is refreshingly natural, and relatively low in sodium too. I followed a serving suggestion on the jar’s label involving chicken, tomatoes, heavy cream (though I used coconut milk) and the Mekhala Tikka Masala Cooking Paste. I was cautious with the spice at first, eventually adding the 2 teaspoons recommended, but it’s nice that you can vary your heat by using more or less. The paste adds a low level of spicy heat and rich flavor. I enjoyed the dish and would use the paste to make something similar in the future.
