Fantastic Buy!
This was well beyond my wildest expectations! My husband and I rarely splurge on items that aren't necessary, but this canopy was well worth it. I was afraid we weren't going to get what we were hoping for if we went with a structure that was more like a canopy than a stable gazebo structure but then we found this. The columns are sturdy and thicker than most canopies. The metal is thicker than average and nothing was bent or misshapen when we received it, it was all in perfect condition. It went much faster with the two of us putting it together and was very straight forward while following the directions (I would have had a hard time at 5' 6" putting the top on by myself). We paid careful attention to the pictures which saved us from having to redo anything later on. The only things we might have done ahead of time was put the canvas on before we attached the top to the leg poles. It gave us easy leverage of the material to stretch it over (I saw a lot of reviews where others struggled with this). We could have easily turned some pieces the wrong way without knowing until it was too late. In total, it may have taken us 3hrs while trying to kick toddlers out of the space we were using and getting all the netting/curtains on. We've only had it for one evening but it keeps the bugs out and I'm looking forward to see how it does with rain. We're in the PNW and we got this mostly to have a covered outdoor space in inclement weather. We don't often get strong winds but I might still be tempted to get something more to weigh the legs down, just as a precaution. The stakes went into our ground super easy, so I would be worried it wouldn't do much to keep it down in strong winds. Otherwise, we love it!

Sturdy and stylish gazebo
We got the 8x8 gazebo and so far we're impressed with the quality. Assembly was easy enough. Just took our time and made sure we were using right pieces in right places, etc. Definitely speeds things up to have the Allen wrench attachment for the DeWalt so you don't wear your hands out with the little Allen wrench included with the gazebo. Full disclosure - by far, the most difficult part of assembly was stretching the canopy onto the frame. The small section at the top, used to vent the gazebo was really pretty ridiculous. I'm usually a mild mannered guy but that small section of canopy was causing spontaneous outbursts of profanity so intense, I thought I had crossed over to the dark side. Definitely rated R for language, so assembly requires 18+ :-) Ultimately ended up using a hack saw to cut about an 1.5 inches off of one of the metal tubes, filing the edges smooth, then replacing the plastic cap. Once I had done this, you couldn't even tell that I had cut the tube visually, and I was finally able to stretch the canopy over the frame, still requiring a lot of effort though. Suffice it to say it's tight and not coming off. It's very sturdy. We've had other gazebos through the years and many did not withstand much wind before either the canopy would rip or the frame would be compromised. Since building this one, we've had at least two severe storms with gusts 50+ mph. This thing took it like a champ. No damage whatsoever to the canopy or the frame. It's really a stylish gazebo too. We live in a condo and can't attach or anchor to anything, so we ended using large planter pots, bolting each of the four legs to the bottom of each planter, then placed two sandbags in each planter, covered by loose stone. It looks great and is completely adequate for keeping the gazebo safe and unmovable, even when faced with 50+ mph winds, as mentioned before. This gazebo is the perfect size for our small patio and it's just what we were looking for to provide shade during the heat of the day. Like I said, we're impressed and so far, wouldn't hesitate to buy again. I'd just be smarter about stretching that canopy onto the frame.

Vey very beautiful, but some minor malfunctions
WOW! This is my updated review. I have had this item now for a little under a month. The customer service was speedy and rectified the minor issues that I had. It has withstood a strong wind and rain event we had with absolutely no issues. The small hole pictured has not increased and the company sent a small reimbursement for the one strap that was detached. I am very pleased with this product and would absolutely purchase again and again. My only regret is that I didn't get the 10 x 10. This looks amazing in our back yard. Set up was easy enough. I single mommed it with some assistance from my teen. Putting on the top small tarp was a bit of gymnastics but we got it. I took a star because one of the small straps detached from the net and there is the tiniest of hole at one of the corner tension areas. But overall it is a fabulous gazebo. I just wished I had ordered the 10 x 10. It’s just been a few days, but I would definitely purchase again. I will update in months to say how the tiny holes have impacted.

It's worth the investment.
Fantastic! It was a bitzzz to put together. Its solid and no leaking anywhere and no mosquitos get inside. 5 stars for that alone.

Completely worth the price and effort
We got the 10x13 size gazebo for our 15 x 15 deck. The one difficulty was that a few of the spots for screws without a screw base didn’t line up perfectly and required a little more elbow grease to get twisted in. The directions were also misleading. 22 steps to assemble is more like 45 steps (some pages had a LOT of directions jammed together so read each page before you do the step). My wife and I built this together. It could probably be done by one person- but it’s probably an all day project instead of a 3 hour project then. Now. What we like about this: a lot! The pieces are sturdy. Don’t strip any screws as there are no spares if you mess up. We assembled in the garage then moved to the deck when we were ready to begin the roof. The beams and pieces were well labeled. The fabric parts are also sturdy the zippers are not cheap- or plastic. As we began attaching the canvas roof- the heavens opened up! Thats right, during assembly it began to POUR! Once it stopped, we went out to complete assembly. However, we forgot that it was waterproof. As we shifted the roof to tighten it to its corners, all the water on top poured down on us! Clearly our roof had no leaks or we would have noticed and much of the gallons would have dripped down earlier! Haha. We like that this has drain holes on the roof, the mosquito netting has straps for the poles and also straps to hold back the sides when you want it open. We are not tall people but our taller friends can walk through without problems. It fits a sofa, large coffee table and two large deck chairs inside. We will likely use some citronella products to keep bugs out. I noticed many people’s reviews had fans wired in and lights through the hooks- Things we might consider with time. Mostly we wanted it for the shade. If we remember, I will update this for fall or winter. We bolted it to the floor of our deck and I am curious to see how it will hold up in all seasons. Update: we live in the Midwest and took down the canvas sides, roof and screens for the winter. The metal frame did fine (no bent pieces, rust or breaks). Our second summer with this and it has been great. It has withstood wind and even hail. We always make sure it’s zipped up in rain. Highly recommend this deck covering!

Extremely nice and easy to build.
We are ecstatic with our gazebo! It took my son and I about 3 hours total to build it. It looks amazing and went together very easily. Other reviews have mentioned the difficulty in stretching the canvas and they aren’t wrong. It takes some wrestling to get in on but it will go with some elbow grease. Overall we are extremely pleased.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
THIS PRODUCT IS A JOKE!! Multiple pieces were made incorrectly, completely eliminating any chance of setting it up. I will give a couple examples, and attach photos below showing what I mean. To start, one of the poles labeled E1 (used for part of the base in set up instructions) has two holes on either end that are supposed to allow a screw to slide through so you are able to screw the pole into part of the base frame. The holes made in this pole were so uneven that when one side was screwed in, there was absolutely NO WAY of getting the opposite side to screw in where it was supposed to, as the hole was tilted at an extremely strong diagonal, and the end of the screw could not meet the socket where it was intended to screw in at and tighten down. I moved on from this issue, initially intending to come back to the pole and redrill the hole myself so that it lined up correctly. Since there are two identical sides, I finished the first (in exception to the pole I had set aside) and moved to the correlating side to do what I could. BUT I ran into ANOTHER production issue! This time it was with the base frame itself. The socket needed for the screw to tighten in was completely missing. After looking closer, I could see it had been put on the inside back wall of the hollow frame. I attempted to screw the pole in still, but the screw could not reach that far. So now I will have to buy longer screws of the same thickness in order to be able to tighten them into their adjoining socket. Such a pain in the ass! I would honestly prefer a refund. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT! It is A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! Made EXTREMELY CHEAP! Like I said you literally can’t even set it up without having to first issues that should not have been there in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous, I honestly can’t believe it! I have set many many many things up by myself over the years. From chicken houses, to bed frames, to dressers and more, and have never ever run into quality issues like these. Hopefully this reviews reaches anybody contemplating buying it, and saves them the money!

The most reliable company I've ever come across
My husband bought this Gazebo for me for my birthday and I/We absolutely loved it. Being seniors this was our way of relaxing with our morning coffee. With that being said... We got caught up in the Tornado that passed through Ohio and our beautiful Gazebo (which was totally anchored down) went flying over our house and landed on top of our shed. I was devastated to say the least. I contacted customer service (not knowing if anything could be done or not) but within less then 2 days they have decided to send me a brand new one to replace my devastated one!!! Everyone that contacted me was so compassionate and caring. This is definitely a company that stands behind their products and their customers. Now we can go and enjoy our coffee once again without being distracted by flying insects. This Gazebo is beautiful and this company is great! Don't hesitate to purchase here, that's for sure
