Firstly the waffle maker is used similarly like a sandwich toast maker, so that means you need to use the clip to hold it down in place. This clip is so flimsy and cheap that it has to be adjusted a few times just to keep it in place. I used this alot on its first go and the clip kept popping away. Also it’s not very well insulated to stop yourself from burning fingers on the device as it gets extremely hot very quickly. It does have its positives though. Once the batter has formed within the mold, the waffle sticks come out cooked evenly and come apart well without sticking to the hot plate but that could also be down to the fact you need to use spray oil to keep it moist and lubricated for non stick purposes. The end product does taste nice with some Nutella for dipping the waffle sticks in though. Item did get hot but this is expected, so just need to be aware of this when in use.
