I needed a dual screen to allow for Teams meetings where I can track presentations as well as chats at the same time as well as coding,etc. This has exceeded my expectations in how well it works. Due to the scaling factor some older applications don't work as well as more recent software but I have been very happy with the purchase. I have also done some gaming and even when I have gamed for extended periods the device has no overheated. (YMMV - make sure the fans can ramp and it is not set to quiet)

Pc works great. No complaints there. But the hinges are quite poor and fail after about 12-18 months. Do not open the screen in a hot car. The screen is held together when double sided tape, which softens in the heat. If the hinges are starting to stiffen you end up with a cracked screen. Ask me how I know 😅 Edit: Well, just over a year later and having had two of these now, the replacement has just failed. Two faults at a similar time. Both just outside the warranty. The screen has started delaminating again, despite my being more careful. But also the main board has failed and can't be powered on. The quote for repair is not realistic so I guess it is now scrap. Two laptops in under three years at this price. Appalling. No more Asus for me. I'm going back to MSI. They have usually lasted me 5 years apiece. Be warned. Get the extended warranty whilst you are in the initial warranty period! A shame. The actual pc was pretty good when it worked.

this thing has atrocious battery life and thermals, you are much better off getting a macbook or something like HP Envy 16 if you really want windows and a touchscreen- the second screen is just NOT worth that much compromise. literally 2 hours of battery even less with just normal edge browsing and hardly video playing, its incredibly inefficient - cant even be undervolted either i tried EVERY setting, the fans stay on, noticeably still audible even on whisper mode. the idea is good, internal execution is just a mess - i fully specced it out asw returned to amazon, definitely the worst device ive ever used in my life lol

Bought in November 2023. For most of my use, I had this laptop step up on a stand using an external keyboard and mouse. It served me fairly well for my work tasks. I code for a living with some photo and video editing thrown in. It handled most of what I threw at it and I enjoyed using it. Due to changes in my work place, I was issued a company laptop and this ASUS one was relegated to personal use only... And I hate using it. As a docked PC it worked perfectly fine and I guess that was because I was one step removed from the awful track pad, as well as the afterthought keyboard. Both are shockingly awful. The second screen... is mostly superfluous. I used it a bit for watching YouTube videos PiP but it is there for catching dust. Everything is so small on it, I stopped using it entirely. You can actually turn it off by a function key, but when you do, Windows 11 seems to think you're using a tablet and enlarges your taskbar and icons. Awful. The premise is better than the execution, the saying goes. Since this laptop is powering two screens, an i9 processor and a 4060 graphics card, there is very little battery life to speak of. You'll always need to be dashing distance of a plug socket. The heat generated by this thing is intense, it always has the fans running. I've since sold mine and moved on. In summary, not worth the price tag. Too many compromises for not much gain.
