I was reluctant to spend so much on a water bottle but early indications are it was money well spent. A really neat design that allows you to drink conventionally or suck through the integrated straw. A robust, well-engineered, build which is easy to clean and, to date, suggests a welcome durability. All this and it keeps my water nice and cold. My only disappointment so far is the fact I would prefer one with a larger capacity.

Great water bottle and does its job really well. The bottle size I think is perfect, it’s not too big or too small so it’s easy to carry around. Insulates your drinks really well. I find the straw inside the water bottle to be a nice addition too. I use it for cycling and I love how easy it is for me to access my drinks. I also think the lid is well made no leakage from the times I’ve used it and secures on well. Overall, great buy and it’s not too expensive either. First decent water bottle we’ve purchased in a while. Will be buying more. Durable. Keeps the water cold. Has a straw and pouring spout. We’re all fussy with the shape of the mouthpiece, but everyone likes this one. Easy to get in and clean to prevent mould.

Very good and worth the money, would recommend. If left in fridge, will stay cold for pretty much the whole day. Retains temperature well, this lid closes perfectly and is leak proof, it has a smooth high quality appearance, nice colour and a nice size.

If Amazon allowed fractional ratings, this would be a rock-solid 4.5 stars. Since I have to play by their rules, I’m rounding down to 4 - solely because of one highly specific, slightly explosive design quirk. Otherwise, the Owala FreeSip is easily the best daily driver water bottle I’ve owned. THE GOOD STUFF This mouthpiece design is absolute genius. You can either sip upright through the built-in straw or tip it back to chug from the wider opening when you're gasping after a workout. The "Foggy Tide" colour scheme looks fantastic. It’s clean, modern, and has just enough style without being obnoxious. The locking latch is robust. You can throw this into a gym bag or toss it onto a car seat and it won't leak a single drop. It's also easy to carry with the little handle which cleverly doubles up as a latch button protector to stop accidental openings. WARNING (The 0.5 Star Deduction) There is one major downside if you plan to use this for sports: do not use it with effervescent electrolyte tablets. Because the lid creates such an airtight, high-quality seal, those fizzy, dissolving tablets turn the insulated chamber into a pressurized water cannon. The first time I dropped a tablet in and clicked the button to open it inside a cramped cricket changing room, it almost soaked the entire team with a high-velocity jet of sticky, electrolyte-infused water. If you want to use fizzy sports tablets, you have to not fully fill it and leave the lid completely open while it fully dissolves, otherwise, you're playing Russian roulette with a face-full of sticky drink (and risking the wrath of your teammates). This means it's not as versatile as I'd hoped. VERDICT If you are just using it for flat water, this is a flawless 5-star bottle. The dual-mouthpiece is a game-changer and it keeps drinks cold for ages. Just keep the fizzy tablets far, far away from it.

Really happy with the Owala FreeSip. It feels very sturdy and well made, and the stainless steel construction gives it a good amount of durability without making it excessively heavy. The 710ml size is a good balance for everyday use. It holds enough water that I’m not constantly having to refill it, while still being a manageable size to carry around or keep on a desk. The FreeSip lid is probably my favourite feature as it makes drinking really easy, and it’s encouraged me to drink more water throughout the day. The insulation is also excellent and keeps drinks cold for a long time, which is particularly useful when using it throughout the day. It has held up well to regular use and feels like it should last for a long time with normal care. The only downside is that it costs more than a basic water bottle, but the build quality, durability and temperature retention make it feel like good value for money.

Amazing water bottle on all levels. The handle makes it easy to carry around. Fits perfectly into the outside pocket of a backpack. Keeps water cold all day, even in very hot surroundings. Also tried the insulation with lukewarm water and it kept the water warm for a few hours. Only downside is it doesn't fit into the cup holder in my car. It works perfectly well without the straw, tilt back and drink like a bottle with no straw. Doesn't leak at all. Easy to hold, even with slippery hands. The bottle is a bit on the pricey end, but for the durability, look and insulation, it's worth it.

It’s my favourite water bottle and I have had many over the years! Would recommend as it doesn’t leak, keeps water cold and looks fab! Oh and love the fold-down handle. Bought the Strawberry Field 24oz (750ml) only recently but my daughter has had another one for a year and it has lasted really well even though kids are rougher it does show some wear it’s still good looking and functional without leaks, so I’d have to say the price is worth it.

Second Owala purchase from Amazon, the first having been a 40oz for work and now a 24oz for potability. Still great, easy to clean and most importantly for seamless drinking without fussing over spillage.
