These were soooo much better quality that others I have seen and look beautiful. I haven't tested the wear and tear of the metal yet, but so far, I'm very please with the product. The picture for the "black" is a nice dark gun metal coloring, perfect for what I was looking for. Although not clear in the pictures, the measurement of the item is for the width of the belt strip that would fit. I got the 3/4" buckle and it does perfectly fit a 3/4" leather strap.

If you're using thread, beware. If you're using it for anything else, you're golden. They match the photo, they definitely work for real buckles, but sewing them was a nightmare. Granted, i was making real belts with them and i wasn't overlapping the leather around the edge like you normally would. Don't judge me, man, i was rushing a cosplay for a convention. Gorgeous, though. The right size, shape, and color. If you're overlapping the fabric on it, A+, if you're rushing like a fool (aka me) and sewing the buckle itself to the material, you're making a mistake in the first place and it ain't it, chief. I do recommend them, though. That was my own fault. They're not fake buckles that don't open (god i hate those). Totally functional.
