This is essentially a long, serrated bread knife with a coarse and finer serration. The length and super comfortable handle make it perfect for cutting rockwool insulation. It's easy to handle and looks great. The included sheath is a nice touch though this wasn't particularly useful for me. In any case, the knife is nice and sharp and feels premium, appropriate for the price. I'll probably never need to use it again but it made insulating my shed a LOT easier.

My wife and I put down 4 pallets of sod using this knife to cut pieces as needed. The course blade was very efficient / effective for doing this.

Works great cuts smooth quality brand only downside or bad thing is the Velcro strap is short and does not wrap around snuggly to secure knife on the holder now positive note u can attach this to ur belt will add pic later on

This knife is definitely worth the money if you’re looking to install rockwool or similar insulations. I’ve Installed about 500 square feet of rockwool insulation with this knife and it seemed to stay sharp throughout the process. The knife length is a huge plus as it allows you to hold the insulation up against the wall and easily accomadate fire blocks, out of plumb studs, and electrical boxes with ease. Get this knife along with gloves, a tyvek suit, and a mask.

This thing is sharp! Cut through the stone insulation like a hot knife through butter, even the smaller pieces. Be careful with this baby!

I used it to cut wool insulation and it worked really well.

Bought this to cut rockwool insulation R15 for my crawl space, I had 28 bundles to work with, each bundle has 12 batts, I’ve cut on tables, concrete and rock, and this knife has done great. I have not resharpened the blade and after 248 batts it’s finally starting to dull. It has 2 sides which I used the “wavy” side for over 80% of the cutting which just slices through with ease, I’m just not flipped it over to use the serrated side. Definitely a great buy!!!
