AMAZING!!! I am so impressed with this stuff. For transparency, it says for age 12+ and I used it on my 8.5 year olds foot. I was desperate. I did not take a before photo and I should have! I did take one after the 2nd application and again this morning. Not even 48 hours! I applied the first application late afternoon. We left it on until the next morning around 10am and it was all white and the skin was a bit softer. We could tell it was doing something ... The second application we left on until bedtime and let me tell you areas were starting to separate and lift up. She peeled most of it up and was able to pull many pieces off, a few areas I cut because I was afraid she would pull it too much and get into the normal skin. So in the first photo (see attached) you can imagine by the white parts you still see, that was the whole area of what her callus looked like, thick and hard. There was no way to buff, file, pick or cut through that, and the centre part that I suspect started as a corn she said hurt - that's what started this whole callus above and around it. Pretty certain it was from her crocs. She has never had an issue wearing them before. Moving on ... After she removed most of the skin I was afraid to put another application because there was also some original and new skin that I didn't want to damage, even applying to the still white areas I was afraid it would spread. So we took a break and instead applied antibacterial Polysporin and oh my, this morning, the second photo is what it looks like. What a difference! It is smooth and soft. I think we are going to leave it alone now and just keep applying the Polysporin to heal the skin that is there. This product is 100% worth it. Not even 48 hours and that hard, large callus, you see the space it took up on her foot, 95% gone! So impressed. This was my last resort because I was starting to get concerned and she wouldn't let me work on it, she preferred to do it herself. (Fiesty girl but I also understand). I feel this next part is important. The way I applied it was as directed. The brush was attached in the sealed bottle. I first soaked the area with a warm wash cloth for 5 minutes to soften the skin. I then applied the solution to the hard areas only being very careful not to touch any of the normal areas. The solution was sticky and thick similar to a honey or syrup consistency. Now this is where I wasn't sure what to do next because in my mind I thought if I put a Band-Aid on this to cover and protect it it's going to stick to the Band-Aid and in the morning when we take it off it's going to pull and potentially hurt her and I didn't want that to happen ... Even after waiting 15+ minutes for it to dry it still had a bit of a tacky consistency where it would stick. So I decided to cut a very small rectangle piece of Saran wrap and put it over top of the area I applied to. I then covered that with a Band-Aid so that allowed movement and keeping the solution in place under the saran wrap - but the Band-Aid also kept it all in place. That's what felt right for me to do for her and it worked. I'm super impressed by this and will be sharing with anyone I know who needs it. Thank God for this product that worked for her.
