I was using an older model, white version. I purchased this one and love the upgrades. I didn't understand the velcro at first but on the bottom it keeps the loops from getting tucked under the door. If you use resistance bands and you have a workout area I would strongly recommend this anchor.

I haven't used this product a whole lot yet but it provides loads of convenience in anchoring resistance bands. I've loaded with a lot of resistance and it hasn't given me any reason to worry. I would highly recommend it along with bodylastics bands, if you get tube style bands. This company makes quality products. It is a little tricky setting up though. You have to really work to get the straps on the door very tight.

Returning this for a replacement, so far quite unimpressed as the plastic buckle that holds it to the door snapped while pulling out the slack. I have to assume this was a manufacturing defect, as other Bodylastics products are quality items. Item also seemed to have been returned previously, as it was just loose in the box/ halfway in the plastic bag it comes in, with only half of the straps neatly folded and secured with rubber bands. Really, though, I question the use of a plastic buckle on something that is supposed to hold back a 150lb slingshot aimed at my face...Might just return it altogether, as I already have a similar product that cost half as much and has metal hardware. EDIT - I did opt for a replacement. The new one installed without a problem and has held up fine after several fairly heavy workouts. The straps and stitching are far superior to my other door strap. I am still casting a suspicious glance at the plastic buckles, but they show no sign of breaking (and I've not heard of anyone else having this happen). The multiple anchor points are fantastic. I have upgraded the star rating to 4.

Although it doesn't completely replace my physical therapy sessions, it allows me to do MOST of my PT exercises at home.

I was looking for a door anchor system for resistance bands training and stumbled across this! There was nothing else like it on Amazon! I decided I would look into the BodyLastics company and elected to invest in their most comprehensive resistance band set and WOW! In just one month, I've started to chisel! I'll be 62 years old on my next birthday, have been away from the gym for over 25 years, and WOW! You will NOT believe it, folks! Big goofy grin right over here! :-D

The Ultra Anchor creates many additional options for exercises and positioning of the band anchor point. It works well with tube or loop style bands. I have a flat bench on a mat in front of the door that the Ultra Anchor is on and I would say that my setup compares favorably to the cable trainer that is in the gym in my condo complex.

I really like this door anchor, I use it a lot and find it really useful in terms of the versatility and ease of use.
