My previous retinol stopped working (different brand), and my face began to break out horribly after I stopped using it. Decided to try this one since it provides the % and within a few days my skin is already smoother and I haven’t had a new breakout! A little goes a long way for sure. There is a slight smell to it but nothing gross and once it’s applied the smell dissipates. The first two days I used it with a moisturizer, then by day 3 I tried it alone and had no dryness or issues. It’s been about a week now and my forehead lines have basically disappeared again.

I use this a couple times a week at night. I haven't had any major peeling or dryness from it. It does give you an instant glow, since there is some kind of red coloring in it. (I think it is some kind of natural coloring.) Vitamin A is really good for oily skin, so I am trying to maintain my clear skin post acutane treatment. I like to use Derma E's sea salt scrub a couple times a week, the anti aging regenerative serum every night and morning and the advanced peptides and collagen moisturizer every night and morning. My skin looks the best that it ever has in my entire adult life. I am very happy with this regimen and will use it for the foreseeable future.
