I watched a YouTube video on install and everything was straightforward. It took about an hour to get wires connected and window motor mounted. What an amazing idea with this product. Absolutely, stoked with performance and price. I can’t stress how good it feels to have powered windows on my 1991 Nissan hardbody…great addition. I also added powered locks that I bought a year ago. Of course time will tell… but I am totally and completely happy with this powered window project. 👏🙌😁🤙

I read the reviews before I bought this and decided to get it anyway. A couple of the reviews mentioned stripping of the plastic adapters and a burning and melting of electrical wires. My experience with these issues are as follows; Stripping of the adapters - when I tried using the tightest, most snug fitting adapters and powered the windows up and down a few times and at the end of the window travel the motor would continue to turn when the crank could no longer turn as the window was either all the way up or all the way down and eventually stripping the adapter that fits over the window crank. The solution is to use the best fitting adapter, one that you don't have to force on that has very slight play on the window crank, the window will roll up and down smoothly and will positively stop in the maximum up or down position. The burning wires. As I was installing the power windows I would test them occasionally throughout the process, I had the ground wire connected and I would hold the positive wire to a positive lead with my fingers to operate the window. While doing this I could feel the wire getting hot so I looked around to see what's causing this then noticed the wires to the other window wasn't hooked up yet and were making contact with each other, I separated the wires and insulated them and tried again and wires stopped getting hot. It could also be because the installer didn't pay attention to the 2 brown wires in the harness, one of the brown wires has a red stripe on it, easy to miss and connect it to the wrong position in the connector plug if your not paying attention. I really like it and my advise to anyone who's going to install one of these is take your time, don't rush it, it is a universal kit and installations will vary in the ease, time and by the skill of the installer.

This kit arrived in 2 days. It was packaged very nicely and has everything you might need. The quality is what you eould expect for the price. The installation process is straight forward if you understand cars and how wireing works. The motors are not quiet but they are not annoying either. If your window regulators are in good eorking order these motors will raise and lower your windows just fine. I read many complaints from people saying they are slow. I installed this in a full sized chevy truck with heavy windows. As I stated above if your regulators are greased and eork properly these motors will work great. Make sure you secure the motor and gear ends properly and mount thrm in an area that will not conflict with the door pannel and you will not have any problems. The only reason im not giving them 5 stars is because of the quality of the gears and the lack of wiring diagram in my package. I would suggest these to anyone wanting to upgrade to power windows.

09 jeep wrangler. Not much space and only one way to install that I could find. Definitely takes some creativity but it can be done. It works. I was impressed it came with a pre made wiring harness which made electrical real easy. For the money it was well worth a try. Rolling down no problem. Rolling up seemed a bit slow but I raced my wife's 2024 suv and I was the same speed. Newly installed so just need to see if it stands the test of time. I can definitely see that if your manual windows are harder to roll up by hand this may not work well. My jeeps windows had very little resistance when Rolling up manually.

We used this kit to replace the aged and failing (also aftermarket) drive units in a 76 Dodge van. Can't comment on the switches and wiring because we kept the original custom wiring in the van, but the drives themselves seem to be working just fine. Could they use a little more power? Sure, but if your existing window mechanisms are working smoothly as they should, these will do the job just fine. Instructions, as mentioned in other reviews, are a bit lacking so you'll need to use your head a little to figure out the best mounting but the provided brackets give you plenty of options. Every vehicle is going to be different. Our driver and passenger doors even required a little different placement of the motors and mounting brackets. Tip: For optimum operation and longevity, when mounting, try to route the "cable" from motor to window crank in as straight a line as possible. That keeps the resistance and wear to a minimum and will also provide best performance. And don't be afraid to get creative. It's not against the rules to cut metal out of the door for a better place to mount the drive motor. Just be sure what you cut will be covered by the interior door panel when you put things back together.

The product itself is ok and works well so far, but the instructions are horrible, Obviously translated into english as some wording is wierd, and hard to follow. There was not a single menton of the electrical part of the installation. If you are not pretty mechanically inclined, you will strugle with the installation. Installed in a 97 Ford E350 UPDATE: The passenger door motor stopped working after a couple days. waiting for a response back as far as a replacement motor. So far not impressed. 2nd UPDATE No response from seller to resolve the defective otor. Total scam of a seller. Very disappointed in the seller and Amazon

Amazing kit everything you need to replace you keep fit windows with electricery if you need it there is YouTube videos to help but quite straightforward everything you need is in the box I fitted it to my 1991 fiat Ducato and I’m really happy with the result

Price was very reasonable not cheap but not badly priced….. I haven’t fitted yet, but the product looks good, hopefully when I get round to fit I will do a video and give 5 Star ⭐. These kits seem to be used to convert manual car windows to electric and seem quite easy to install… Watch this space for my final review!!!
