My husband purchased this for two purposes. The first Was to use the hydration pouch for longer runs. The second is to have a little bit of room to carry a couple things on a shorter run to the gym without The hydration pouch. For both instances he wanted the backpack to not shift around as he was running. He says it’s perfect, it works for both uses and doesn’t shift around or bounce when he’s running.

I purchased the XL ,47" around my chest and it worked great,no bounce on longer runs, more than enough storage for a shell,jells,bars and T.P., spent a week up in the White Mountains of NH using it as a day pack just added a couple of soft flasks in front,really liked the side pockets for my poles. If your a larger runner, speed hiker,looking for a pack this will get the job done. My son's and I are planning some longer mtn runs coming up and this pack will be used for those ,even used the lashing straps for a jacket just to see if they would hold on a longer run/hike ,15 miles, never had to adjust the jacket,very happy with my purchase!!!

I bought this vest/backpack for my husband to use during our trail 1/2 marathon at Catalina Island. It was perfect for us! I had to run it with a cold so we packed our normal running supplies but added hankies, extra fluids, cough drops, and extra tissue. My husband carried it and loved how easy it was for him to access all of the immediate items from the multiple pockets on the front. I personally loved how easy it was to access the items from the pouch on the back. The magnetic snap made it very easy while we were running. There are multiple adjustable bungees all over the pack and are hidden when not in use. We carried my sweater in the back, and my hankie in the front.All in all, we bought it specifically for our long trail run, for its compact size and for its storage capabilities. This pack did not disappoint, rather we were pleasantly surprised when we got it. It is so intuitive that it really supported us in our run. The craftsmanship and materials used will certainly make it last a long time. My husband had no complaints. The only thing that I would change, is that it came in different and bright colors, other than that, the quality and ingenuity on this pack leaves nothing to be desired.

I kept hearing good things about this pack so I had to check it out for myself. I have to say it did NOT disappoint. Once I got it all set up, the water simply doesn’t move. No awkward bounce on my back and no annoying slosh sound. I took it through some of the gnarliest trails and didn’t even realize I had it on. Love all the extra storage too. There’s literally pockets everywhere on this pack. Magnetic lid is super cool too! Best pack ever! It literally checks all the boxes!

The ultimate trail pack. Perfect for long adventures!First impression was that I was very impressed by the quality and fit. It fits very snug and keeps everything tight to the body, without moving or rubbing. There’s plenty of storage space and pockets to hold my phone, food, trekking poles, bladder, soft flasks, and whatever else I need to carry. It’s a well thought out and comfortable pack. Love the zippered compartment on the bottom.

I’ve had my gripes with different hydration packs shaking up and down on my back. With this pack, there’s absolutely no bounce or additional movement from the water. Tons of storage and easy access pockets to hold my gear too. So far so good!

I love how the bladder is low and horizontal and doesn’t move like others I’ve used. It’s really comfortable and distributes the weight properly for long trail runs.
