I was hoping for something more substantial - once its closed and locked the case does what its meant to do - but when its open it flex's more than I'm happy with. So much so I've ordered a "Daystate" case - not yet received that.... keep you posted.

Like other reviewers have stated, there is a lot of flex when opened up. However it does a good job of transporting one or two rifles safely to my local range.

Just recived this, it said its a two gun case but it's a very tight fit. Only really suitable for one air rifle.

I read all of the reviews & decided that seeing how most comments were positive it was worth trying out. I did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. It is pretty thin & the foam is not very dense but it is more than sufficient for storage & transport. I put 2 scoped, approximately 10 lb each, air rifles in it & they are secure up to probably being dropped. I would not expect much protection in that event. The latches would likely open or break. But who drops their rifles anyway? Opening the case the with latches operating down prevents them from getting in the way & adding some type of adhesive keeps the foam in place. I used very thin double sided tape & have no issues. Not much can be expected for $40 these days but this is, in my humble opinion, is a great deal on a decent product. It is as advertised.
