Parachute 100% Pure and Natural Unrefined Coconut Oil | No Chemicals & Added Preservatives | 200 ml (Bottle)

This is my second time buying Parachute Coconut Oil, and I’m happy with it again. It’s 100% pure, melts quickly in the summer (as expected), and has that lovely, natural coconut scent – not too strong, just clean and fresh. I use it for both hair and skin – it absorbs well and leaves everything soft and nourished. Also great for oil pulling or mixing into DIY skincare if you’re into that. The only downside is the expiry date – it’s quite short compared to other brands I’ve used. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting if you're not using it daily. Still, great value for the quality, and I’ve repurchased for a reason!

Since I've tried this product I didn't want buy any other one

As someone living in the UK and coming from the land of coconuts, this Parachute coconut oil feels overpriced. The overall packaging looks good, with great quality and a sturdy bottle. It's great for both skin care and cooking.

After letting it come to room temp this is the best massage oil. Smells like bounty bars!

Smells and feels like grandmother's weekly hair ritual. Tames dryness and enhances natural hair colour.

I bought this coconut oil to take to the hospital as a moisturiser for my baby in the event he got nappy rash. I mainly chose this one as it has a convenient lid, which was a must have; as many know, coconut oil changes from a solid state in cooler temperatures to a liquid in higher temperatures. My baby was born in April and this needed to fit in a bag without leaking amongst other important items, and it absolutely performed in that aspect. Unfortunately, the product itself is not as effective as other brands, in my opinion. The price tag is higher than my usual supermarket brand as well. The oil didn't quite liquidise as much, and I'm assuming this is because of the packaging being mostly sealed. When it did liquidise, it started pilling. There were little scratchy coconut beads throughout the product, which I have never experienced from a coconut oil before. Another interesting packaging decision is the flip-up "straw", I imagine this would only work when the product is in its liquid state and I wonder if it would frequently clog when temps reduce again, in which case you wouldn't be able to use it anyway, I think that part is a bit redundant. Smells lovely and does eventually melt when worked through warm hands and I think it would last a while depending on use. I used to use coconut oil to remove makeup, but I would exercise caution as coconut oil can block pipes when it solidifies, I now use a different oil for this purpose. All in all, maybe I had a rough batch, but I don't think I'd personally buy this again; however, I do like that it seems to be the only brand that has leak-proof packaging for this type of oil.

Nice coconut oil would highly recommend I used it to make body cream works well

If coconut oil is to solidify, why put it in a bottle from which is it impossible to be extracted unless it is heated (continually)? In any case, it has a yuck taste; a hint of bitterness which makes one think it may be rancid? If you are after coconut oil for tooth pulling - this is what popped up when those search terms were googled - this is definitely NOT the right product. I contacted the seller and was told that that is the nature of coconut oil - it solidifies in low temperatures. Jeez! Thanks for stating the obvious. Actually MCT Oil, which is 100% coconut, does not solidify and tastes subtly sweet and smooth and lovely. And remains in a liquid form. Unhelpfull seller with a disappointing product.

Wasn't too impressed that the product was only 6months from its expiration date.

Ich benutze das Öl zweimal die Woche und lege es vor dem Benutzen in warmes Wasser, damit es flüssig ist und massiere es anschließend vor dem Waschen in die Kopfhaut und ein wenig in die Längen. Haare und Kopfhaut fühlen sich weich und gepflegt an, zudem fördert das Einmassieren die Durchblutung der Kopfhaut und kann so Haarwurzeln wieder ein bisschen mehr Kraft geben :)

Parachute coconut oil is a pure and genuine product that helps in nourishment of hair. It's light and non sticky. Also, it is easy to wash. It comes in a neatly sealed bottle. It is fresh and smells good as well. It is definitely a value for money product.
