It does well at providing a secure, stable workspace when you prefer to work comfortably from a hotel bed rather than using an uncomfortable desk and chair. While the ambidextrous dual retractable mouse pad is a useful feature for both left and right-handed users, the most impressive aspect is the overall stability and surface quality. The surface allows the mouse to track perfectly without needing a separate pad. Furthermore, the design is robust—placing my hand on the retractable tray does not cause the laptop desk to tilt NOR does feel flimsy like it will break. Believe me I did apply more than simple force to it. Beyond the excellent functionality, the Laptop Lap Desk itself is sturdy yet lightweight, making it genuinely portable and easy to slip into a backpack or laptop bag. If you are seeking a simple, ergonomic, and highly functional lap desk that delivers reliable stability, this is an outstanding choice.

I already have a couple of lap desks but they were either too bulky or didn't have enough surface area to use a mouse. I wanted something really lightweight so I could pop it in a backpack or tote bag, but still use my mouse because I hate track pads. I initially wondered whether anyone made a retractable mouse surface that you could stick to the underside of a laptop, and honestly this feels like a similar solution without having to actually stick anything to your laptop. It's so lightweight and easy to take anywhere. The footprint is only very slightly larger than my laptop, but the mouse tray (which slides out from either direction) provides that extra area needed to use a mouse. The surface itself is just right, so no mousepad needed. The surface of the desk part is just grippy enough that the laptop stays put even if I'm using it at a tilt. It slides very easily into a laptop bag, backpack, tote bag. It doesn't provide any extra height but when I want to elevate it a little, I just put a throw pillow in my lap under it. I also use it on top of a very small tray table at times when I want to use my laptop with mouse and the mouse wouldn't ordinarily fit. Honestly, one of my favorite purchases that gets so much use.

This laptop desk is EXACTLY what I was looking for to keep my 13 inch creator's laptop stable on my lap and to allow proper cooling. My laptop's processor generates considerable heat. Good, simple construction, with an effective no-skid pad for the laptop I liked especially the slide out out mouse tray which works witheither a left or right-handed mouse and is built with a slightly raised edge that keeps the mouse fr falling off. This edge could be just a bit higher, but it's very effective as is Nothing to plug in or set up. This laptop desk fits very easily into the laptop bag.

[Build] This lap-pad is built sturdy. The quality feels nice especially around the rubber pads. [Size] Extremely portable. I was looking for something to bring along with my ultra book in a bag for train use, and this Lap-pad is extremely useful. For referecne, my ultrabook is 13.3 inches. I was also surprised that it managed to also fit my 16 inch bulky gaming laptops. [Mouse Pad] Perhaps the weakest link of this lap-pad was the mouse-pad. It slides out very easy, and its a great size, however its too smooth, so if your mouse doesn't have rubber feet, it ends up sliding everywhere when you go to type something on your laptop. I wish it was made out of a less smooth material. [Conclusion] Overall, this lap-pad is built great, has a great size that fits up to 16 inch laptops, and is very lightweight. However, the biggest thing holding it back is the material used for the mousepad, despite this downside I would definitely still buy again. Update: I've modified the mousepad and added thin grip tape. This simple modification still allows the mousepad to slide out, but also keeps my mouse steady. This brings the product up to 5 stars. However. Im keeping it at 4 since I believe this should have been considered.

It's simple, it works, it's not overly huge, and it's decently- to well-built. My laptop (a Macbook Pro 14") fits on it perfectly and feels very comfortably stable on it due to the rubber. I will legitimately be using this for years to come.

It's sturdy and works exactly as I thought it would. I use it for a keyboard and mouse. It's comfortable and easy to move around.

This is perfect if you're looking to create a flat surface for your laptop on a bed or sofa. I personally don't mind using my laptop directly on my lap, bed, or couch a lot of the time, but sometimes it really does come in handy to have an actual flat surface instead of a slightly movable one. This is especially true if doing extended work or something that can increase the heat of the laptop. Even though my current laptop doesn't get anywhere near as hot as my old ones have, it can still get uncomfortably warm where I'd rather have a barrier beneath it if I'm be doing something for several hours and not just a few minutes. Highly recommend, wish I had gotten it sooner. I like the design of this lapdesk a ton. Haven't made use of the pull out mousepad section, but it's nice and great that you can do either side for right and left handed. It's a clever design, sturdy yet lightweight. Fits my 14-inch laptop with ease, would fit a 15.6 no problem. Tested the fit of this in my bag as well, fantastic that the slim and lightweight design means it is easy to take when you travel, slides easily into padded slot with the laptop. And honestly, now that I have it, I think this is a very useful buy if you only ever use it when you travel. Truly wish I'd found this a while ago.

出張での現場仕事（デスクを与えられずフィールドに椅子だけ）で14インチのノートＰＣとトラックボールだけで2営業日に渡って資料書き。70Pほどの資料をこの膝上テーブルだけで書きました。テキストだけでなく図も多数。程よい重さと剛性、表面処理でノートＰＣもトラックボールも滑り落ちることなく利用できます。 それにお盆のようにノートＰＣ一式を何か台になるようなもの（例えば段ボールとか）にさっとまとめて置いて、他の調べものをしたり配線作業をしたりと普通だったらばらばらになってしまうから液晶を閉じてその上にトラックボールだったりペンだったりをのっけて対処し、またＰＣを使うとなったら上にのっかっているものをどかして画面を開いて・・・という作業をすることなく、すぐに作業復帰できるので快適でした。 ちょっと重さがあるので荷物的には重量が気になるところはありますが、マウスパッド部を左右に引き出せる構造や、この剛性の高さを考えると致し方が無いし、むしろ重さが無いと膝上で安定しないのでは？と思います。鞄の中に入れても仕切り板として鞄そのものの形状を維持できるし、ノートＰＣの画面天板側の保護もできそうだしこれは出張作業のときに手放せない逸品になりそうです。

Very useful piece of equipment when you prefer to use a mouse and are limited for space as it gives you an extra little desk bit which is very useful for your mouse. A sturdy bit of kit and very comfortable .All in all good value for money.

Excellent portable laptop tray. Good material and love the push out mouse space. Efficient and handy.

I use this to work on a train or wherever there is no table. It is very practical however it is heavy and bulky and could do with a lip to stop the mouse/pens from rolling off.
