Like removable glue
This review is for (Pack of 2) Extra Thick Sticky Anti-Slip Gel Pad, Mini-Factory PREMIUM Universal Non-Slip Dashboard Mat, which I have had in my possession for two months at the time of this writing. I found it amazingly sticky. It's actually on the verge of being too sticky. I've intentionally waited for several weeks before reviewing to see how the stickyness lasts and you will note that so far it still gets five stars. I even put a GoPro suction cup mount on it (without engaging the suction) and did some recording to see if it would dampen the vibration and it held just fine. I was pleasantly surprised. I did not leave it on very long though because I did not trust it to hold it for any extended time, though it held fine and did not fail, it was only my fears that made me stop using it. I have a case on my phone that has a hard plastic piece that snaps into place on the back to add strength and if I'm not careful and put too much of that in contact with the sticky pad that part sticks to the pad when I pick up the phone and then I have to peel it off the pad and reapply it to my phone. That is not a big deal, but it shows that the pad is really sticky. I can set my sunglasses on it and only a small portion of the frame or temples have to touch the pad and I do not have to worry about them coming loose or even tipping over. So far I have not seen it lose any of its gripping power. Just a couple notes however, My car is almost always in the garage and since I'm retired It does not sit in a parking lot during the day when I'm at work, so it has had very little exposure to direct hot sunlight or in a hot sun baked car . Nor, has it sat out in the cold winter subject to freezing. If something happens in the future to make me change my rating, I will update this then and let you know.

Handy for Many Uses
I don't use this on my car's dashboard, I use in on my bedside table under a CPAP machine to prevent its sliding off onto the floor. It does a superb job, even against unintentional tugs on the hose. In fact, those tugs are more likely to move the table than displace the CPAP! Highly recommended.

It Works but You'll Be Cleaning It Too
These little silicone mats are STICKY and will hold most things you put on it. The only downfall, is that same sticky surface attracts every bit of duct or anything else flying around. Simple fix is to run it under some water, let it dry and it will be sticky again. It works as advertised, which is a rare thing to say nowadays.

Sticky
These pads are extremely... I don't want to say sticky because there's no glue involved, but that's the best word I can come up with. When I first put this on my dash I was concerned about how difficult it was to remove. It did remove however. It holds my phone in place with no problems. It has one side that's textured and I put that side onto my dash for easier removal. I recommend this item.

VERY useful, washable - NOT a throwaway item
I hesitated because I wasn't sure how sticky this pad was and I didn't want to waste money. Glad I went for it. It is great to hold my glasses while I drive and have my sunglasses on. Then when I park - I switch back. About every 3-4 months I peel it up and run cool water over the pad on both sides and wash all the pollen/dust off that has accumulated. I allow it to air dry over a drying rack (like a cake!!) and it comes out super sticky again and ready to go. If I used a towel or (Lord forbid) paper towel - it would be completely covered in lint. Really works great. WARNING - if you put this on the dash and leave your phone on it - it will likely over heat the phone. Just sayin'

Not sure it wouldn't melt in a car at 100 degree weather?
I haven't put it in my car yet. I have it at my home and I am wondering if I should attempt putting it in my car. Its very black and sticky to hold it on your dash and to prevent your phone from sliding off the dash to the floor. I live in Florida where the heat this week is 93 degrees and in the car its about 100 degrees. I don't want this item to melt and ruin my cars dash and anything it may melt into. I can't see how this item wouldn't melt but I'm not sure so I won't be putting it in my car. Maybe in Canada it wouldn't melt?

Love these on my car's dash pad. Keep my Sun Glasses secure and readily available
These stick well to my cars dash panels, they do a great job of holding whatever I place on them. While I use them mainly of my sun glasses, I've also placed other small items on the pads without anything slipping off. I do note that they need to be placed on the dash panel while the dash and the pads are warm. Dead of winter or cold outside, you need to warm the interior of the car before trying to use them. Once they stick to the dash, they work great.

Packaging was perfect, they are sticking to the dash nicely and my phone is not moving, so basically perfect so far.

Way smaller than I was expecting, good thing the pack had two, because 1 is too small for the area I needed to cover. I will likely buy a Larger one for the other spot I had originally planned, as I needed to for 2 different spots, so I need more. That’s my major down fall. I would hate to see what a “small” would be.

Used this for my phone on my dash and it never moves, better than a cell phone holder
