Added benefit for good nights sleep w/out Melatonin
if need to allow the brain to shut off ( not literally) so to speak after literally! busy day this is a good way to assist the body to get the benefits of needed sleep I combine with my ALGAE CAl Calcium taken at night to allow one to enhance the other. works for me! or from time to time to combine with a GABA capsule if high strung! L-Theanine Takes Time; Be Patient
I have only been on this since early June. It does appear to be expressing some interesting results, sleep-wise don't really notice anything at all, not sure why they say that, but just overall, more energy and wellbeing, will definitely continue to order as I have read enough about this product to know it takes a while, so I am curious, as the long term benefits apparently are amazing, so we will see.

Very helpful
These help me so much with my social awkwardness. I spent months doing research and trying different supplements that felt like they may have helped but didn’t after a few days or had side effects in the long run. Once I tried these, I didn’t notice anything at first. After about a week of taking them I had a job interview and felt like a human talking to them. Not jumbling my words, talking in circles or missing the question completely out of nervousness. I have not noticed changes in my sleep but have noticed I don’t worry about the next day as much while I’m trying to turn my brain off for the night. Overall I am very satisfied with the results so far.

Effective, depending on what you're after.
Good for taking before a nap. Helps me fall asleep, but not stay asleep too long. If you plan to take these with caffeine, I'd suggest first trying 100 mg and then only moving up to 200 mg if that doesn't remove enough of the "jitters". At the moderate levels of caffeine I normally consume, 200 mg of theanine is usually too much and makes me feel sleepy. You can also combine L-Theanine with N-Acetyl Cysteine for effective relief of some cold & flu symptoms.
