Its ultra-fast action prevents food defrosting during use, reduces energy consumption by easing motor strain, and extends appliance lifespan. Unscented and easy to use, it transforms the dreaded defrost chore into a quick, efficient task, saving you time and money. ## Description Product Description HG Freezer De-Icer is a fast-acting freezer defrosting spray that helps loosen stubborn ice and frost from chest freezers, upright freezers, under-counter freezers and compatible fridge freezer compartments. This ready-to-use de-icer for fridge freezers works in 5–10 minutes, helping remove ice before food begins thawing. Use this defrost spray for freezer maintenance when ice builds up on inside walls or around freezer compartments. The ice melting spray for freezer frost helps soften remaining ice after thick layers have been scraped away. It can also be used as a defrosting spray for fridge freezer compartments or a de-icer spray for freezer frost. Regular defrosting helps limit ice build-up, maintain usable freezer space and support efficient appliance operation, as excessive ice can make a freezer work harder and use more energy. How to use: Switch off the freezer and remove all food. Scrape away thick ice to remove as much as possible. Spray the remaining ice liberally with the HG freezer defrost spray and leave it to work for 5–10 minutes. Remove the loosened ice and repeat the treatment if necessary. Dry the inside walls thoroughly before switching the appliance back on and returning the food. The 500ml spray bottle allows direct application to remaining ice. To clean the fridge interior, use HG Hygienic Fridge Cleaner as directed. Includes one 500ml bottle of HG Freezer De-Icer. Always follow the appliance manufacturer's care instructions and read the product label before use. Keep out of reach of children. If I miss the deep freeze and it spatters on the floor Is it likely to do what car defroster does and poison the animals?** A: Anti freeze and similar agents are HIGHLY TOXIC. In addition, it tastes nice to animals. I would not use this at all as I have cats, however my mother uses it (she has no pets) and it’s fine for her. **Q: Re the flammable warnings....is it risky that my freezer is under counter where the gas boiler above? Will need mass spray for this job. Thanks.** A: This will be fine as long your gas boiler flame is not open and as long as you spray into the freezer. It does work best if you turn the freezer off for a few minutes first, so it may be best to move the freezer away from the gas boiler as a precautionary measure too. **Q: Does it smell really bad?** A: No our freezer is in our pantry which has no windows and we noticed no unpleasant smells. We would recommend this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - HG Fridge Freezer De-Icer Spray, Freezer Defrosting Spray & Cleaner to Remove Ice Fast, Easy to Use De-Icing Deep Freeze & Refrigerator Spray by Professional HG Cleaning Products – 500ml (539050106 ) - Zanussi Freezer Ice Scraper - Toastabags Freezer Liner, pack of 2, frost mat.
