What a difference these make
Like many people I use a commuter car, good on fuel, cheap and low maintenance. As such I opt for cars without bells and whistles due to cost and longevity, I’ve had my 2007 Toyota Yaris 4dr for about 11 years now and I’ve always wanted good factory looking fog lights. I did try other products that either worked great but looks bad or just didn’t do the job. Looking at some of the aftermarket kits, I came across this one for 30ish dollars. I wasn’t expecting much but the fact that it was prime, had the relays and wiring, inserts for the fog lights, lens, and the bulbs h11 themselves already added to the light, in my option was a steal, even if I had to replace the fog light lens for some led lens. This kit doesn’t have proper instructions, but if you are doing this job, you should understand basics wiring and know that you need to either tap an ACC line in your car, or tap the fuse block in an empty location, connect the lead wire to the battery and get a ground somewhere. Getting the pre-done ACC to switch line through the firewall gromet was a serious pain, I recommend electrical fishing line wire (not fishing string) and something large to push back the gromet and allow and opening. On the Sedan you will need to remove the battery, as that gap is just too tight for your hands to fit the wires through. The kit came with the wires prewrapped and zip ties to secure it. There is plenty of wire length and extra so routing isn’t terrible, just again a tight fit. (NO need to remove the bottom tray or bumper for installation). To access the fog lights, you will need to remove the wheel well liner clips and slide you hand in and short Philips’s screwdriver to turn the provided stainless steel screws. The lights mount right up to the factory holds and do not require drilling or adapters like some kits do. The bezel inserts are on point though they do have little gaping but nothing noticeable and come on this kit is so cheap this is to be expected. The lights are a little larger than the opening so does not try to keep shoving the plastic until it covers the lens completely, this is just an overlay and looks dam good. There are multiple locations to install the switch inside the car, but I chose the factory location near the hand break. This switch popped right into this area with NO extra effort. Once all connected and with the car on AAC or RUN, you will see the switch illuminate, if this happens while the car is off (not key in or not turned) you have an issue and should check your ACC tapped wire. My switch is BRIGHT GREEN (oh man it’s bright) and when pushed a green bar inside the switch lights up. If you install this correctly you can push it once and leave it and the Fog lights will come on with the car like daytime running lights. (I don’t recommend tapping these to the light switch), as not doing it allows the cars fogs lights to say on for high and low, vs just low. The light output hits the side much further out and illuminates 2–4-foot Infront of the car a lot more as this seemed to be my dead zone with factory light lens and my aftermarket lens ones no matter how bright the bulbs is. These are NOT projectors but the 55w bulb that comes pre-installed seems to do a good job in providing a smooth light (not amber but not white). I might replace the lights with some h11 LED’s to see the difference and longevity (10,000 hr bulbs vs the stock 300 hr max bulbs). Conclusion: I recommended this kit to anyone like me that has this car and wants the better light output, but doesn’t want to pay crazy dealer fees for the lights, my local dealer said 250 for the stock lights, not sure if this included the wiring . PROS: Cheap Everything you need to install (minus electrical tape, did include a line tap, and zip ties). Comes with H11 bulbs preinstalled. Fitment is almost perfect. Switch looks factory and fits in any of the factor locations with NO issues. Power wire to batter in engine compartment has no heat wrap on it (will had a sleeve to it just to be safe). Cons: Some gapping (not enough to notice, but if you are retentive this might bother you). H11 blubs are NOT the brightest (better than nothing but not day breaker blubs or even close). No real instructions, (does have some basic info, but this is only a schematic of sorts). Verdict: Very happy with them, would recommend, but prepare for 30-4 hours of install time based on your knowledge and skill level. As said in the review grommet is difficult something to fish the line through there is needed! ***** I shall add pictures****

Good Product
Housing Fitment is good not prefect only wish was the halogen bulbs it came with were LED’s. Replaced from ordering a pair of LED H11 fog light bulbs from Amazon. Wiring was easy, just YouTube how to and figured it out, fished the positive red wire through the firewall grommet with a coat hanger. The fog light switch (super bright green LED) can be installed by the break handle (there’s two tabs by the passenger seat).
