I'm using this with my 9-year-old twins. It's systematical layout makes it very easy to use in a homeschool curriculum. We go over the words in each lesson every Monday and do exercise A. Then they can do exercises B-D on Tuesday-Thursday. Exercise E is always a reading selection using their vocabulary words, and sometimes the questions following the selection are a little too tricky for the boys, so we do that together. I also bought the Wordly Wise test booklet published to accompany this book, and the boys have tested very well following these exercises. I love this vocabulary series.

I find this book to be really helping my student build vocabulary. It took a few chapters to get going, but now we are on a role. This book is easy to use without the instructors guide.
