Great little DVD player! This is compact, easy to set up, and works great with my TV. The HDMI connection gives a nice clear picture, and I really like that it’s region free and supports both PAL and NTSC. The resume feature is convenient because it picks up where you left off. The remote is simple to use, and the USB/TF card options are a nice bonus.Overall, a great little player for the price!

This is a great DVD player for the size. Important to note the remote must a have direct line to the front of the player for it to work. I bought this for a 32" wall mounted kitchen tv that has very little room behind it and kitchen appliances under it. I needed something small enough to squeeze in somewhere and this worked perfect. I had a small Roku stand that I was able to stick the DVD player to and it fits behind the tv even when collapsed pretty close to the wall. I cannot use the remote because I chose to put the DVD player in a place where the remote does not have a direct line to the front of the player. But if I hold the remote under the tv and angle it up, it works. So this remote does not work "through" objects the way that some remotes do. When I had the stand clipped to the top of the tv the way it's intended, the DVD player was visible above the tv and the remote worked great from across the room. I only had to use the HDMI cord and the power cord. Often with wall mounted tv's, some of the ports are inaccessible. With mine, the red, yellow, and white ports were blocked by the tv mount, so it was great I only had to use the HDMI cord, because the HMDI port is in the side of my tv and accessible. Picture and sound are great. All of the buttons you need are directly on the DVD player, so if you lose the remote, you can still use the full functionality. For such a small light-weight DVD player, I'm so impressed with the quality of the picture. If you travel a lot and want an easy DVD player to pack, this is it. You could easily plug this in to hotel tvs and it weighs next to nothing to travel with. For anyone who remembers them, this is similar to a discman. One that doesn't easily skip. It's probably even lighter weight than one, albeit maybe a tiny bit thicker. It uses a USB-C charger, which it comes with. Also, it has a volume control on the player itself as well as headphone jack. There is a USB port so I suppose you could put movies on a USB stick and play them that way. In another review someone said this plays DVDs from anywhere globally/any format. I haven't tried it, but I'm excited to hear that because it would help with learning a new language to play movies/tv shows and it's often hard to find everything I want in US format. All around super happy with this purchase. Will likely buy more for other rooms. Cutting back on streaming services to save some money and reverting back to my DVD collection for a while. This makes it easy and not messy looking.

The device seems to be working fine, even though I've only been using it for 2 days. The problem lies in the misleading description of this element, which explicitly states that it "supports MPEG-1V, MPEG-2V, H.263, XVID, DX50, DIVX, MP3,.." when in fact it DOES NOT support DX50 and DIVX, which was the main deciding factor for me. because I have a lot of disks with these formats. Included "User's Guide" also doesn't even mention the DX50 and Divx formats "as supported". Don't get confused with online manual (for example, at https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/C1uxkfvbWDL.pdf) - it's for similar, but different unit from the one sold here. The promised LIFETIME WARRANTY, if registered within 14 days, also sucks! A disgusting website With complete silence (no confirmation is received by the specified e-mail). NOT GOOD! I probably won't return it back anyway, keeping it as a spare CD/DVD player (considering its cheap price).

The player is very compact and easy to use. It was really plug and play. Various type of cable included. Video comes out clear. The player was able to play over the skip issues I had with my old machine. The only issue is the machine is too noisy. Even at high volume, it was hard to drown out the spinning noise.

It is perfect, just the right size.

This DVD came quickly and as described. I was very happy that it came with connections to multiple types of devices (TV, laptop). It was very tiny and can fit anywhere. It is easy to install and has a remote control for ease of use. Highly recommend this if you need a quick, DVD player for any region DVDs!!

I purchased this to replace a 15 year old Phillips unit. I thought I would take a chance on a small compact player. I just recently relocated my TV to a wall and have this DESOBRY Small compact DVD player. It took less than 15 minutes from the time I opened the box to playing "The Devil Wears Prada". No fiddling around. No fussing. Just connect the HDMI cable at each end and plug in the power. Then I played "SULLY". The sounds from this unit are great. The colors are high quality. The remote is going to take a little time for me to get the hang of it. But, in my defense, I am 79. There are so many features in this small little black box. No more slide out trays that don't slide out. Just insert the DVD/CD and hit play. I will eventually put a small shelf on the wall next to the TV for the ATT Router and this DVD player. But until then I am going to enjoy the sound and the picture quality. This is a good product.

Gostei muito do DVD. Atende muito bem ao seu propósito. Imagem boa e nítida. Pra quem gosta de ver filmes em mídia física como eu, vale a compra. Indico.

Pacco arrivato dopo 18 giorni dall’ordine “a sorpresa”, perché risultava bloccato alla dogana degli Stati Uniti. Nel pacco è compresa una spina americana, quindi è necessario acquistare una spina europea con uscita USB per attaccarlo alla presa di corrente. La qualità della scocca non sembra delle migliori, è molto leggera e spero che non si rompa facilmente, dato che il vano dvd si apre a pressione manuale. La qualità dell’audio-video sembra buona, ho collegato con HDMI.
