I bought the VEYOFLY to deal with a gnat problem in my house, and I’m really glad I did. Within a short time of setting it up, I started noticing a big difference—there were way fewer gnats flying around, especially in the areas where they were the worst. It was even catching little or medium sized house flies which was cool What I like most is how easy it is to use. I just plugged it in and let it do its thing no complicated setup or constant maintenance. It’s also pretty discreet, so it doesn’t stick out or look out of place in my home. After using it consistently, my space feels a lot more comfortable and clean without those annoying gnats everywhere. For something that requires so little effort, it works surprisingly well. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with gnats or small flying insects. There is one con tho you are going to have to buy more than just the two pack if you have a bigger house . I had ordered some last year and they still work perfecly fine so the Durability is great and sticky as well . I came back for another two pack this year as the gnats come back when its warm

This product does work well on gnats . . . However, it only works at night. I suppose it would work with blackout curtains as well. The gnats are attracted to the light, but the light isn’t strong enough to be seen with sunlight pouring in from windows. I had a gnat problem for about a week, and these did take care of it (along with spraying peroxide in my potted plants) after a few days. If you have lots of gnats the sticky traps will fill up fast so be sure to get plenty of refills.

I had this before, so I bought it. I know it works well, and I do recommend for Amazon buyers. However, one thing that lingers in my mind is that, this product makes me think that a package of 5 refills at $15 is way overpriced...... Is it just me who feels this way? I hope they offer 10, not 5, for the same price. Again, this works, but for a budget buyer, you might look into many other items before you feel justify to buy this product.

The principle of the Veyofly, utilizing a defined spectrum of light that flying insects are attracted to, assures that this device will reliably capture some flying pests. Specifically, it seems most effective on small insects like gnats, fruit flies and mosquitos. Whereas it is less effective attracting the common housefly. Although the Veyofly casts a bright circle (say, a bit larger than a foot in diameter) on the wall of a pleasing soft purple light, still it is no match for the bug attraction power of sunlight streaming indoors from your windows. Specifically, in daylight, I've observed common house flies buzzing over and banging into the pane of a window that is immediately above where the Veyofly is illuminated. The problem is further compounded by the fact that house flies don't seem to be "night fliers". For example, study what bugs swarm about over a porch light at night -- it's not black flies, but rather moths, mosquitos and tiny gnats. So, as your house becomes dark the "night flying bugs" will roam about and eventually be attracted to, and be caught, by the Veyofly. Whereas, house flies that have parked themselves, at dusk, outside of the immediate glow of the Veyofly are much less likely to find the device, since, by my theory, they are not night fliers. However, the above aside, my two Veyoflys have indeed caught a few house flies. But the kill rate, or effectiveness, seems like it's 10 to 1 in favor of the night fliers. On balance, it should be noted that I do attempt to keep house flies out of the house in the first place, so my population of these pests may be low relative other bugs. Lastly, it is very important that a category of insects the Veyofly has success with are mosquitos. For this reason alone it gets five stars. Also, a big plus is having no stinking chemicals to deal with. Changing out the Veyofly's "tacky card" every 2 - 3 weeks takes about 10 seconds, so maintenance is minimal. OEM replacement tack cards on Amazon are a bit pricey, but generics at half the price are available -- no experience with the quality of the latter.

I live in Florida and we have lots of little bugs and this product works terrific! No chemicals, no smell, and no noise. All, which are very important to me. It is totally solved the problem and is a great value for the money.

Does work but not as effective as fly spray.

I was sick of little bugs in my face 24-7 so got 2 brands of this concept. This one is great , does what it’s meant to do , so much so that I ordered 2 more boxes . The only one thing is I couldn’t keep it in my bedroom it was too bright so put it covered areas and bathroom. Rather that than bugs. The one box that I got only one plug in worked but they were amazing to replace it by the next day and I never had to return the faulty one. Thank you for great service

Excellent product refills

It actually works and its pretty simple. The light attracts the flies and they tuen get stuck on the sticky paper. We live near horse stables and the flies go crazy here every summer, this year was different igot 3 of these and put them on overnight. The light attrated the flies during the night and in the mornings when i went to check the sticky paper was full of flies. Very satisfying. I highly recommend. I also recommend getting sticky paper refills with your purchase, they fill up quick.
