Had major problems connecting to Bluetooth, including slow to connect , connecting then disconnecting , working for a while then not working . Tried two different earpices and had same problems with both. Found an old Samsung phone at home and the earpieces connect straight​ away and consistently work. Also minimum ringtone too loud. It looks and feels a good phone and having spent hours reviewing rugged/ basic phones i am really disappointed. It clearly hasn't been tried properly before people have put up a review . Whoever the ' top reviewer is needs to look at the basics. Bluetooth is critical in this country if you have a car. For that not too work and given how long Bluetooth has been out is shocking. It is time the guys who started Nokia to come out if retirement and start making basic phones again. There is demand and the mobiles of 15 - 20 years ago are far superior. If i had known what i know now i would have bought half a dozen of them back then. If i am not refunded in full i won't be using Amazon again.

Bought it for a friend's grandson who goes through phones at a phenomenal rate. It's really gone the distance.

The problems with this phone are as follows:The battery life is nothing like what the makers claim. The best I could achieve would be less than a week of very light use. The Alarm feature, which I have set as a daily repeat, sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Who needs an unreliable alarm? The Text system is appalling. The predictive text dictionary is full of non-words but lacks many everyday words. It is not possible to write text in lowercase and to shift to uppercase for a single letter. You have to be in ALL-Caps, or ALL lowercase, or EVERY word starts with a capital letter !!!!The volume of the ring and message, alarm etc sounds are way too loud. I've had to record tones very faintly in order to avoid frightening people close by.I reported the battery and volume problems to the maker after they became clear but got no reply. The other faults have become known since. I got NO REPLY to my complaint. I will repeat the attempt to get them to respond but I am not optimistic.It is a rugged phone but in all other respects it is awful.

I had to wait until a family member could bring this phone to me in Africa and then wait again until I could find a functional SD card as the phone has virtually zero internal memory. I started using it 2 months ago.The phone has been misting up quite regularly just from a sweaty cargo pocket. It has been fully immersed and water clearly invades the USB and charger area although this creates no more ( or possibly slightly less) misting than a sweaty pocket. Today the screen started flickering and then completely went out. The phone is still on and I can answer calls as I know which button to press to answer an incoming call. All other functions are impossible.The battery, despite being large, has a disappointing life span and I couldn't find an option to buy a spare battery.If I found myself in a life threatening situation in which I had to make my location known to the rescue services then I most definitely would not be wanting to trust my life to this phone.Back to my cracked screen Samsung tough phone until a replacement finds it's way to Africa.

Got rid of my Samsung and got me a hamswan. Viva la revolution

As paperweights go . . . could be better - still the best use I found for it yet.
