I definitely recommend this light, as being seen from the side is a real safety bonus. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brightside Bike Light. *by G***S on 26 February 2026* Fantastic idea definitely at junction and roundabout good safety device ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have *by S***S on 19 July 2017* After being knocked off my bike on a roundabout by a car that didn't see me, I can confirm that it hurts. A lot. Before I went anywhere on my bike again I ordered this light - and I now wouldn't go out without it on, even in bright daylight. It has 4 settings: * bright on constantly * bright flashing * slightly dimmer constant * slightly dimmer flashing On its bright settings it is bright enough to be noticed even during the day. It seems pretty well made, and each charge (via USB) lasts me quite a few rides. The mounting clip holds it quite firmly, and I have no concerns about it falling out. The mounting clip in turn is held to the bike with a rubber belt - if you have an oversize tube frame then you might need cable ties as another reviewer mentions, although on my bikes I can find a mount point quite easily. On that subject, it is also easy to move the light between bikes.
